Outbreak: The Explosions
Who: Open!
Where: Goldenrod, Ecruteak, and Saffron City
When: July 13th, All Day
Summary: The Pokémon Centers have been destroyed, and there's panic in the streets!
Rating: PG-ish!
Log:
For the three cities in question, the picture painted is around the same. The Centers have been destroyed, completely and utterly demolished by... Well. They aren't sure. The smoke still lingers in the air, the building's rubble still hot and smoldering from the destruction. Officer Jennys have roped the place off, some of them investigating the crime scene, some asking eyewitness accounts. They're still not sure what happened, and they can't give answers to anyone who asked; all they're saying, all they're able to say, is that everything is currently being investigated and they will report the moment they can. Only a very few are being allowed into the debris; it's dangerous, but with enough coaxing and a good enough reason, they'll let someone look through it for a short amount of time. However, there aren't any answers that can be found to explain this.
The current News reporters are all over this. People and pokémon with cameras are asking anyone if they know what happened or had seen anything, trying to alert the public in both the Kanto and Johto regions that everything is okay and to come forth with information once they hear anything. They just try to keep from creating public panic, so they do their best as reporters to cover the story. It's not much, but it helps.
For the patients who were already in the centers, and for those who were injured further, they're currently being bussed or flown to neighboring city Centers for better treatment. For the Nurses who can still work and the ones who have come in, the three cities are now stationing tents for help. They can't heal pokémon--the machines were broken--but they've got blankets and bandages and a few potions to help out. The Inns are housing many of them for free for that night, and the next few nights to come until they can get some things worked out. The nurses are looking for volunteers, anyone on-hand and willing to help out with the people currently nursing any injuries.
But everything is looking somewhat grim. Until the police are able to catch who did it, the most they can do is investigate. Judging by the damages, they're not going to have the pokéCenters in these city for another month or two at least. They're back to square one.
Citizens... please, don't panic.
[The NPCs and normal citizens won't be able to give you any details on what happened. The effects are spreading across the regions now; strange symptoms are beginning to surface. This outbreak starts now.]

If there is, you making sure the Chanseys got out will be a huge help. [He's seen from raising one himself what they can manage with healing all on their own.
Still- he's wary of any of them getting back into that mess. Not to mention Roxas.]
You better have one of them look at you- Or at least Nurse Joy, if she's alright...
no subject
[He touches his head again.]
I don't think anything hit me, but now I've got this headache...
Have they relocated somewhere?
no subject
[He hadn't thought it at first but now--
He looks around at the debris and masses, frowning away.]
I don't see anything, but it's still pretty hectic.
[
Plus he can't see over the crowd]no subject
[Roxas nods. He doesn't really have a height advantage here either.]
Should we look around?
no subject
He's nodding to his suggestion, too, but then immediately looking up as a Drifblim floats down near their heads. A Togetic floats off the top, and a Natu drops down to bounce at their feet, but it's the flying ghost he indicates.]
Fuushi can fly us up, if you want a better look, or transport anybody we find.
no subject
Can it support both of us?
no subject
[Halfway across Johto at that- And if it helps, this ghost is a little more overstuffed balloon than specter.
There's even a white top to hold onto, if they can get up to it.]
She can't control direction too much- but we'll at least get up where we can spot anything.
no subject
[He really doesn't want to stand anymore, and it'll probably be better if he at least gives the illusion that he's helping.]
Let's just hope we don't end up floating off somewhere.
no subject
[And in the meantime, he can get them up pretty high, and give Roxas a chance to get his bearings - since, hopefully, that's all it will take.
And while he waits to find out, Yuugi can get a look at just how bad things actually are... Meaning he doesn't say much once they're actually in the air, since ithe damage is obvious. But]
...do you think this was another bombing? Like that school in Violet?
no subject
[There's a pause. He missed something again.]
What happened in Violet?
no subject
[He'd check his gear for anything similar now, but that would mean ignoring what's in front of him.]
no subject
[Roxas knows him. He's been yelled at before.]
Did he succeed?
no subject
[And the cause of this? Taking advantage of it maybe? Who knows. Either way, his considering is cut off by the wind throwing off the Drifblim's float up, making him drop his hands to keep balance.]
-do you know where you want to go? We need to get back down soon.
no subject
[Of course, he's staring intently and that isn't helping his headache. Heights aren't a problem though.]
no subject
[Just the smoke. And that's pointing to nothing but the scene itself. Even better, the growing crowd around is covering any possible trail on the ground.
But as he looks around, he does notice some tents going up a ways off, and he points over.]
It looks like there's something going on there.
no subject
[Taking a closer look seems out of the question right now, at least from up there.]
We might be able to help. Or something.
no subject
Should we go back and help those Chanseys over there?
no subject
[Especially with the lack of pokemon center.]
