Log:

Something about this moment was nearly ripping him apart on the inside. As Demyx arrived in Cherrygrove and set the Steelix back in its pokeball he couldn't help himself but to consider it all. Here he was in a town that he had only passed through before on the way to Violet, to Valeria and Lea, and now he had come once again to yet another date with destiny. To a meeting with none other than the keyblade wielding hero that had struck him down in battle. Sora, Roxas' somebody, the man all of Organization XIII was put on the offensive to hunt down and capture, himself included. All to gather the pieces and create Kingdom Hearts, all to restore themselves, and something more sinister than Demyx could have ever realized.

And yet, here he was, standing on the outskirts of the town on his way in. A resident trainer of Johto, a human, and quite literally a new man. But, would it seem that way to Sora? Did it matter anymore, even? Somehow...yes. Even if they wouldn't fight again. It felt like something about this meeting was a deciding factor, a fated junction in his new-found life.

A point of decision. The choice of embracing himself as a human and forgiving himself for the things he had a hand in. And Sora was, coincidentally, the key to that choice whether he realized it or not.

Sora's thoughts didn't run so deep. He was just enjoying his time here, waiting. Riku was pretty anxious to get going, but Sora wasn't the type of guy that would just let things go that could be patched up. He was sort of a fixer, in a way. So when Demyx said he didn't want any part of the Organization anymore, Sora was inclined to believe it. Someone would say that he was just being naive. Maybe he was, but there wasn't anything wrong with that.

He had his shoes off and was along the coastline. It wasn't really odd to be without a beach, but he felt more comfortable around it. That and it seemed like it was summer time in Johto and what better way to escape the heat?
