Where: All over Viridian City
When: ...At some point during the last two weeks?
Summary: Cecil and Bartz race wheelchairs around Viridian City. Hilarity ensues.
Rating: G for Great Friendship Moments. Probably.
Log:
By the time Cecil is ready to start, he's had Rosie check the wheelchair over three times, arm rests included. He'd normally prefer to take care of it himself; she's a smart Pokémon, truly, but she also has none of his mechanical knowledge, and she might overlook an issue he'd see immediately. But he's still not allowed to leave the seat, and an inexperienced mechanic is better none. He cannot risk making a fool of himself through inadequate equipment, after all. This is a matter of pride.
(Well, no. This is a matter of spending time outside after so many weeks spent in bed, of enjoying this world together, of trying not to think about their ever-shrinking numbers. Their pride is mostly accessory at the moment.)
Once his steed is finally decreed satisfactory, he turns to look at the other racer, smiling.
"Are you ready?"

Frankly, Cecil has a feeling they'll end up taking the same path no matter what, considering the size of the city, but it's always polite to ask. Rosie obviously thinks much along these lines, as she snorts at his words. Still, between the ledges and the pedestrians, there could be opportunities...
