Every project needs a starting point
Who: Rose Lalonde (
tentacletrainer) and Other Father (
pianokeys)
Where: The Other House
When: Afternoon of the 19th
Summary: Rose wants a tree house, but wants to be extra sure that it'd be okay to build one. And to maybe ask for help from others.
Rating: PG-13 maybe for language.
Log:
She'd been playing with the idea for a while now. Before all of this mutation problem when the days were still very long and the sun was...okay well. It hasn't exactly cooled off just yet. Not to any comfortable temperature at least. But still, the point is, she's been thinking about this a while now and just hasn't asked. But now they're going to be stuck there for...however long it takes these to wear off (because John refuses to travel and with how cold she still constantly is she's probably in no state to anyway) so why not start?
But first she wants to talk to Father. She knows it was brought up once before, around the time she initially proposed the idea of building a tree house, but she wants to double check that it's still okay. So today she knocks on the door of the music room, fairly certain he's in there, a plate of brownies in hand (or oven mitt. She layers her hands now to keep from freezing everything.)
"Father, are you in there?"

no subject
"Door's open, daughter of mine."
He's currently stood behind a large double bass, a book of notes and pen beside him. He plays a plethora of notes to serenade his little girl, all organized into a short tune not un-similar to the ones he was previously playing, although far faster.
