Summary: Breaking in the new house by inviting over friends!

*It had been a little over a week since Hayate got this place rented, so it was high time that there be more activity then just those who were currently calling the place home alongside him. Naturally that means inviting friends over, which while Hayate had done himself, Yayoi had handled by inviting all her 765 Pro idol friends over for a proper get together between the bunch of them in town.

Luckily for those coming over, idols or otherwise, Hayate makes for a generous host! If the fact there was a variety of cookies and snacks spread about for indulging in aren't enough, there's even a masterfully made chocolate cake amidst it all. Given who he knew was coming over, the fact there's a small karaoke machine out shouldn't be a surprise either. ... though how accurate the songs include will depend on Johto's mercy.

Still, it was going to be a busy afternoon for the new house. Hayate would just have to settle for keeping himself busy in the kitchen a bit longer. At least until everyone had started to show up.*

*Hayate is parked in the kitchen, yet he just kind of leaaaaaaaans out of it to peek at the two as they walk in.*

[ As for Yayoi? She's out front, sweeping around the entrance and door and generally tidying up! There's a bucket of water and a sponge next to her- the windows are next, and she's also got to make sure that the yard looks good, and maybe she'll go and double-check where trash needs to go on days when it's picked up- ]

[ Housework! Yayoi is positively glowing when she pauses to wipe her brow. ]

[ this was supposed to be a party or something like that, wasn't it? but maybe she'd come a bit too early if yayoi was still cleaning. it's not like yayoi would clean during... the party...

Ah...! [ Yayoi looks up at that familiar voice and then she just- drops everything and goes in for a SUPER HUG ]

MAKOTO-SAN!! Uuu~, it's so nice to see you again!

[ Yayoi releases Makoto to look up at her, eyes sparkling ] You're not early at all! You're just in time!!

[ And coming up the rear a few minutes behind Makoto is Haruka, carrying a tray of cookies. She sees Yayoi cleaning up, and her expression lights up. ]

Ya~yo~i~chan~!

[ Haruka calls out playfully. ]

[ WELL, Yayoi can't really tackle-hug the other girl, so she settles for just jumping up and down in excitement- and her expression lights up even more when COOKIES. ]

A-Are those for us??

[ makoto might have been a little bit embarrassed at first about using the karaoke machine, but eventual her true idol instincts would no doubt awake. it's been a long time since she's really been able to cut loose, and she has to admit she's a bit worried that maybe her voice has fallen out of tune a bit or her dance moves have become a little sloppier.

then all that training would be for nothing... !

so at some point, she can no doubt be found belting out this song complete with accompanying choreography. it wasn't really her first pick for what song to sing, but for some reason the karaoke machine picked it for her when she messed up entering her number... ]

*Don't mind Hayate he'll just be sparkling like a proper fanboy as he quietly watches Makoto go at it full speed.*

Uwaaaaaaaaah...! Her voice is every bit as powerful as I remember it...

[ when she finishes singing the song, she finally notices her audience. ]

Ah, Hayate! How was it? Whaddya think?

[ Karaoke!! Karaoke!!!! How can Haruka not get excited over this?! Look even Makoto-chan is dancing and getting really into it this is super cool! ]

[ but she clearly appreciates the praise anyway, from the look on her face. ]

What about you, Haruka? You should sing too! [ not willing to take no for an answer, she'll just thrust a mic in her direction. ]

[ Haruka can't help but get super duper excited! She brings to the party a tray of sweets she prepared on her own from the hotel's kitchen they were staying at, marveling over the amazing spread of hand-baked delicacies before her! They look professional! Honestly it makes Haruka a wee bit jealous, vying for that day when her cookies can approach that level of confectionery mastery. She sets down her tray of cookies, where she will mingle there for a bit.

Of course the mingling is only for a little bit, as the sweet sounds of a karaoke machine completely dominate Haruka's consciousness. She nigh drops everything and rushes for it, gleefully ecstatic for the chance to sing like this. When it's her turn, she starts singing this song.

There's no choreography like Makoto with one of her signature songs, but that doesn't stop Haruka from putting some impromptu moves! Mainly she sings very steadily, bouncing to the easy-going beat and obviously getting really into it.

Otherwise she will let her heart take her where ever during this party! ]

*Naturally given how much he made, Hayate would notice quite quickly when there are some extra sweets in the midst of things! Which is why the butler will be curiously approaching while she's hovering about the table, ready to chime in.*

You brought some you made, Amami-san? I didn't know you liked to make sweets! I can't say it's a surprise though, you do seem the type who would enjoy baking...

Mmm hmm! I'm still learning the ropes with cooking, but I'm confident in my skills to make sweets!

[ Looks like she's in very high spirits today! Even if Hayate is Hayate, and even if he's wearing some potentially off-putting cute frilly apron on, his lecherousness isn't going to dampen her day! In fact, in a sort of good will, she beams toward the butler. ]

Please, try one Ayasaki-san! The cookies are my kind of forte~!

[ She speaks politely, holding her hands in front of her, waiting for Hayate to try them out. Little does she know that he's some culinary guru expert chef monster of a butler man, but at least her butter cookies are actually pretty well done. Not the best ever but certainly pretty good! ]

[He's just. Staying in the corner, keeping quiet and being really awkward. The last time there was a lot of idols, it was during... Hibiki's birthday, wasn't it? Well, at least, that's what he remembered.

Whatever, that still doesn't hide the fact that it's... pretty awkward to be one of the two males currently in this house. Especially if all the girls are idols that tend to be quite a handful, if they're anything like Miki.

So... yeah, he's just drinking a glass of water and eye-ing your shenanigans. Feel free to drag him in anything if you want, girls.]

[ Hi Mr. Grumpy pants. Haruka is laughing and having a blast. Hope you enjoy having Haruka belt out the greatest hits of everything ever, having sung most of the time. It's like she's addicted to this thing.

But when she takes a break, she tromps on over toward the refreshment table and quickly guzzles down a bottle of cold tea. It's then she notices Shinn, and, she smiles, waving and approaching. ]

Oh!! Miki-chan said you would be coming! Come on, let's have some fun! Hey, hey, want to try some karaoke?

[ Haruka doesn't wait for an answer. She's just pulling Shinn toward the karaoke area. ]

There's just a moment where he almost tried to break free, but since he kinda feels bad hitting girls, Haruka wins... this round...]
