For The Glory Of Johto
Who: Minnie Mouse, Xion, Ventus, Blue Saber, Red Saber, and anyone else who feels like being part of the audience!
Where: Goldenrod.
When: Early Afternoon
Summary: Minnie & The Sabers are holding a Knighting Ceremony for Xion and Ventus. It is being broadcast live over the Pokegear, so everyone is free to comment and join in.
Rating: G, most likely.
Log:
In the middle of the city, there was a small gathering located around five people. Minnie Mouse, wearing the same dress as she had picked out earlier, was walking forward, with the twin warrior maidens at her sides. Off ahead, Oswald the Lopunny was holding up Minnie's Pokegear in order to get the entire event broadcast. Xion and Ventus were standing side by side, a little nervous at being made into a public spectacle. They mumbled a few things to each other before going rigid, now that the ladies were standing before them.
The girls were all holding swords - fake ones, as Minnie had insisted she didn't want anyone to get hurt by accident. She's also the first to speak, gently as always. "Please kneel." Ventus and Xion obey, lowering their heads in respect as well. Minnie nodded once, and so Red Saber held aloft her blade, touching both of Ventus' shoulders, and then the top of his head.
"I dub you, Sir Ventus." She spoke a bit louder than Minnie, her chest nearly puffing out in pride. "Your loyalty to your companions has proved to be your strength, and it is a power that has never faltered. As long as you continue to believe in them, and in yourself, you will only become stronger. We have faith that you will be able to protect those you care for, and that you will always stand by their side. But never forget that as you protect them, they are there for you as well. Work together, and the path to the ultimate power will be in your grasp. You are a true knight of this world."
Ventus rose his head for a quick moment, flashing a grin, but quickly sent it down again as he saw Blue Saber take her turn. She repeated the same actions - the sword to the shoulders, to the head. "I dub you, Lady Xion." She spoke with more refinement, but the enthusiasm was still shared. "Like the great phoenix, you have risen from the ashes of your past to make a future created by your own hands. You have become your own person, and this is a person to be proud of, to respect, to admire, and to uphold. While you must never forget where you came from, you must also keep your head up to see the future that awaits you. You have created ever lasting friendships, you have honed your skills to protect these friends, and you will only continue to rise higher and higher in your path to glory. There are lives that need you now, and you will continue to prove why. You are also a true knight of this world."
Now it was Minnie's turn, and with her own little sword, she touched one shoulder of each knight, and then held the fake weapon firmly in her hands. "Please rise." Once they stood up, they could see Minnie's eyes were almost brimming with happy tears. "This is truly a precious world, that has been able to bring us all together. But this is also a world that has its share of darkness. It may seem like a never ending battle, but as long as we are here, we must do everything in our power to protect this world, and the people in it. One day, this world will be covered in light, and it will be accomplished by all of us working together. I am proud to call you Sir Ventus... Lady Xion... and I am proud to call you... my children."
Ventus started to blush deeply, while Xion wasn't sure if she should try to stop Minnie's tears or not. Minnie dabbed her eyes with one of her gloved hands, and then chirped as she waved afterwards, "All right, now, just as I told you! All together!"
Red Saber looked like she was resisting the urge to roll her eyes. "Must we?" But a poignant glare from her counterpart ceased further complaints. The group of five held hands, took a breath, and then held them up, crying out together...
"All for one, and one for all!"
