[Kira very much isn't cut out for this Team Rocket business, so, whenever he gets a chance during their training, he sneaks away for some fresh air and venting. He leans back against a wall just outside the training area with a small thud and lets out a sigh. This definitely isn't what he wanted to be doing.]

[ Momo had just woken up. She quickly darted around the room in some sort of horrific shock. She was supposed to be serving and discussing recent matters with the lieutenants, not falling asleep and waking up in some random stranger's house.

She manages to find the note after a brief yelp and a swift oh my god and looks at it for a while. She was chosen? To be on a Team? Was this for some sort of sport or something? How did she end up here anyways?

These people were nice enough to give her a bed, two cute little pokeballs, money, some change of clothes, shampoo, soap, a pokegear and trail mix (!!!). She also sees the code of conduct, convincing her that she has been selected for a sports team, possibly by accident, but they're taking care of her until she gets her stuff squared away. She quickly changes and packs up all of her things, but, she ends up dropping her pokeballs.

It's not bad, though, as, for her troubles, she gets the cutest thing ever. Her Sunkern hops and squeaks a bit as Momo takes it into her arms. ]

A-ah! Sorry about that... I had no idea you were in... [ Wait a minute? Did this cutie just come out of a ball? That has to be painful! How do they even fit in there anyways...??? ] this ball? [ The Sunkern happily affirms it was there as she tests out all of the others. A Woobat comes out, being just as eager, if not more so, than the Sunkern. ] Aah... I wonder why they gave me these? [ Oh well. No laughing matter. Momo quietly walks out the door, nervously, but tenderly holding Sunkern as Woobat quietly follows. The door is a bit heavy and makes a loud slam as she gently paces down the hallway. ]

H-hello? Is anyone there? Abarai-kun...? Captain Aizen...? [ And no mention for Izuru Kira ): ]

[Now those are familiar names - Izuru stands up properly upon hearing that, looking down the hall to see where the voice is coming from.

There's a girl...who does look quite a bit like-]

Hinamori-kun?

Gyah! [ Momo flinches upwards at the sudden noise. She wasn't expecting to be suddenly called out. It's been very silent. The voice comes to her as a relief, as she quickly makes her way towards it, only to end up endlessly confused. ]

Kira-kun? Were you selected to on Team Rocket too? Are there any others here?[ This was unusual. What was he doing here? If he's here, does this mean there are others here as well? Why was he...? ] Why is your hair shorter? [ He looks younger too... ] You look just like you did when we were back in the academy. [ Is she really seeing someone from the past? Or maybe he decided to get a hair cut and she just didn't notice? Maybe he had to get it cut to serve on the team? All of these possibilities float in Momo's head as Sunkern cheerily chimes in with a brief chirp. ]

[He perks up immediately, though still has to suppress that nervousness that's rising in him, it's Hinamori-kun and she's talking to him and her hair is really cute like that---!!]

What do you mean? I don't think anyone else is here, but...my hair has always been this way, it's you who looks different.

I don't look different at all. Usually you have longer bangs that cover one eye, and, you usually still wear your lieutenant badge so the third division doesn't ignore you... I mean, I'm still wearing mine even if I'm in a different uniform... [ She points to it on her shoulder. It's the badge for division five.

Him being perky is definitely sending her a signal that he's from the past, but she's still a little unsure. ]

[He looks down as he notices the one on Momo's arm. Fifth division, isn't it? And, isn't that the same as Aizen and Ichimaru - in fact, it's the same badge that Ichimaru had worn when the two of them had saved their group not so long ago.]

Kira-kun, is something wrong? [ They're both wearing their rocket uniforms so she can't tell what's really going on. Sunkern chirps a bit, and Momo holds her even tighter. ]

It's just that what you're saying doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't have any reason to own something like that.

[Maybe she's just...wearing it to show how much she idolises those two??]

Kira-kun! [ Momo's tone is sharp and definitely concerned. ] Of course you do! You're the lieutenant of squad three. You serve under Captain Ichimaru. You worked really hard to get to that position and you're more than qualified so don't sell yourself short! [ NOPE...

However, this is all the confirmation she needs that he's from the academy. Izuru definitely would never say that today! He views being a lieutenant as a responsibility! ] What was the last thing you remember before arriving here?

Well, I'm from the future. We've graduated the academy a long time ago! You and me have been lieutenants for a little while! We serve under Captain Aizen and Captain Ichimaru! Abarai-kun just got promoted too, and he serves under Captain Kuchiki! [ BOY ENJOY THIS INFO DUMP. ]

[HE DOESN'T MIND THE INFO DUMP THIS IS GOOD, THIS IS EVERYTHING HE EVER WANTED]

Of course I'm not kidding! That's why I have this badge and that's why I thought your hair was longer and you were a lieutenant! I'd never lie about this! We're living something we always wanted to do! [ She'll tell him about His Other Squads later but for now this is important! ]

Heh, I always knew I would make it there quickly. It's no surprise it took Abarai a while to catch up...

Abarai-kun had the skills, he was just rowdy and moved from division to division. [ As he got bounced from squad to squad... ] You made it there quickly, but I made it there the quickest! [ Because Aizen saw that she was the one with the most potential to be manipulated ;x ] I worked really hard and was really devoted to Captain Aizen! [ She is so proud of herself.... ] Your skills with kidou made Captain Aizen briefly drop you in Squad Four, so you could harness an ability to heal others and then Captain Gin became the captain of the third squad and recruited you specifically to serve alongside him and you became a lieutenant really quickly after that! [ IT ONLY TOOK TEN YEARS... which is like a fraction of a day in afterlife terms... ]

[Oof, don't tell him that, his pride!!]

A-aah...I was still beaten?

[He sighs]

...Wait a minute, fourth?! He put me in fourth?! Is he crazy?! Was I-was I that bad? But, Ichimaru-fukutaichou realised that wasn't right at all...right?!

Captain Aizen isn't crazy! [ She's getting very defensive here. Her woobat nods in agreement. Spoiler alert: his name is Aizen. ] You were very capable in combat! The fourth division isn't all weak! The second strongest person in the sereitei is a captain of squad four! [ She glares. ] Captain Aizen and Captain Gin just thought it'd be useful if you worked on that ability a little more under someone who could provide guidance for it! You still trained to fight. Then, when Captain Gin saw that you were ready, he took you into his squad immediately and made you a lieutenant!

[No, you don't understand, being in fourth is humiliating when you think you're hot shit.]

They both did, Kira-kun! They both made sure you were trained in the art of combat, and you were trained in kido by Captain Unohana! She's the best kido user ever, with the exception of Head Captain Yamamoto! You also received tips on fighting from Abarai-kun so you were well balanced. [ She'll help you find the bright side.... ]

[No, Momo, I think you forget how cocky he was. I know it's hard to remember when he's usually so depressed and humble, but...]

Abarai-kun is really strong when it comes to swordsmanship! He's just inefficient in every other aspect! [ .........SOBS..... She's so unused to cocky Kira! She sort of shrinks back after yelling but seriously don't insult her frans... ]

Yeah, he's definitely good, but still, who was consistently top of the class?

Eheh, well, I still have to prove myself - or rather, measure up to myself. I'll take your word for it, it's not so surprising, after all.

Yeah! That's what the manual said they were for! You battle pokémon so they become stronger and can protect others! They're kinda like zanpakutou in that regard!
