Here's acceleration, find the mass.
Who: Spencer and Mio
Where: Route 36, a little outside of Violet City
When: Today, 11/3/12
Summary: Reid's Pokémon were kind of useless when he was possessed, because apparently they suck at strategy. Reid's decided to remedy that by teaching them physics. And Mio's gotten dragged along for the ride.
There is no way that this can go wrong.
Rating: PG

This should work out fine.
[Reid pries Flora off his head, cradling her in his arms, and sits down on a big rock placed before a pond. They're in a small clearing by the pond with trees surrounding them in a semi-circle, and Reid's perch on the rock gives him a spot to talk at everyone. He carries his three eggs in his bag, letting them rest on his side in the sun, and his Pokémon settle near him in a loose group, except for Amanda. Amanda hangs back near the treeline quietly, and since her eyes are always huge and red, it's a little hard to tell what kind of expression she might be making. Either way, she stays apart from the group, since she and the other Pokémon still haven't really gotten past their differences. Or even attempted to do so, really.]

Everyone's here, right?

I think so. [She casts a look at Amanda and purses her lips. She's still not sure where her thoughts are regarding the pokemon, so she hasn't been either welcoming or unwelcoming. She can't even pretend to feel bad about it though.
Instead she walks over and brushes her skirt down before taking a seat.] What are we learning?

Um- It's... Protons, neutrons, and- [A pause] Electrons. Right?
[Talk of electricity? Mary is so for this. She sits up some and looks at Reid, clearly listening intently]

[As all of Reids' Pokemon's eyes glaze over, Amanda jumps off her perch on a branch, swooping to another branch closer to the group and crouching down to murmur to Flora. Flora immediately translates telepathically:] Amanda says skip the lecture for now and go straight to the demonstration. None of the other Pokemon have taken Physics 101 before.
[Flora doesn't entirely know what she just said, but she hopes it wasn't rude. Reid pauses, mentally backing up, but takes absolutely zero offense at being interrupted.] Uh, right. Sorry. Mary, you mind coming over here for a second?

She looks to Mary and Mary looks to her; there's a moment of silent communication as Mio nods permission and Mary stands. The sheep shakes a little to get some of the dust off of her, before padding over to Reid; she looks to him expectantly.]
Mary's electricity'll be able to help, right? [Mio took a guess at what he'd need Mary for] Because of charging it... [She trailed off. The 'charging' part that clued her into 'something to do with electricity' was all she had]
no subject
Exactly! Mary, would you mind generating a current for me? Nothing too powerful--just enough to give someone a moderately painful shock. N-not that I'm actually planning on shocking anyone: don't worry.

But there's a bit of concentration and an electrical charge states up, the crackling of electricity going off in her fluff every once in a while. She then looks to Reid for further instruction]

Come closer, Mary. Don't touch it, but get really close to touching it.

Mio and Yami lean in some, impressed. Mary looks to Reid again as if to ask, 'Is this how it's supposed to go? Should I be trying to reign it in some?']
