Who: Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and all those coming to meet them!
Where: Saffron City
When: From Friday evening, 1/25 onwards.
Summary: The pony gang has made it to Saffron. It's time to meet up with old friends, see the big city, and earn some badges.
Rating: PG, potentially upgraded based on the situation.
Log:
It had been a long train ride. Nothing at all like the steam and pony-powered trains back in Equestria. This thing took off like a bullet, moving silently along the track. It was scary, at first. The only time Applejack had gone that fast before, was on the back of Twilight's Dragonite. She was relieved, at least, to this time be on the ground. Once getting used to the fact that they were hurtling towards another city at a speed faster than she could comprehend, she spent most of the ride with her eyes glued to her window, watching forests, cityscapes, and pokemon rush past at high velocity.
In the city, she was a bit disappointed to find that Saffron City looked markedly similar to Goldenrod, which they had just left. Perhaps, she thought, that being in a different region would bring a radically different feel. But, alas, even covering such distances, much of the world seemed the same. Still, there was a new badge, and new opportunities in this city. They would have plenty of time to explore.

Friday - The Train
...Of course, not even a fast-moving train could prevent Dash from taking up nearly an entire seat and doing what she did best: sleeping. Her snores might've been heard a few cars down, but at least she was comfortable.

"How in tarnation do you make that much noise when you're not even awake?"

And she shoots her hands, balled up into a fist, straight up in the air. While still sleeping. Obviously in her dreams, she was a pony again, had her wings and hooves just for the occasion.

Friday-The Train
She scowls irritably at the message she's trying to type out. Letters usually come much easier to her. Then again, there's a large difference between telling your teacher what new lesson you learned today, and trying to write a decent letter to a friend saying essentially "Hey, I'm going to be in town this week. Want to meet up?"
... Why she doesn't just write that is anyone's guess, frankly.

"Sendin' a message t'your friends in Saffron?"

She frowned at the screen. "It's weird, I usually don't get writer's block. But I just feel like I'm either forgetting or missing something important."

...some unspecified date. ANYPONY is welcome, though this is relevant to AJ in particular :3
Including one big ol' Charizard, a skinny, big-winged Dragonite with a nasty smirk, a Blastoise wearing some radical shades, a Lucario nudging the Dragonite along with a sigh, and his shiny Charmeleon scrambling close behind.
They seem to be headed towrds one of the local restaurants-- a seafood joint, to be precise. Care to intercept?]

THE GREAT JUSTICE RANCH INVASION! (takes place pre-AJ and Riku battle)
Still, they'd gotten a warm reception upon arrival, from both humans and Pokemon, especially the horde of puppies that had swarmed them before they'd even reached the door. Which wasn't that surprising, as they all had friends, or at least acquaintances here.
Introductions had been an involved process with so many people, but it was nothing compared to, say, the Apple Family. Soon enough, the ponies were settled in the house as though they belonged there.
Unfortunately, that wasn't really going to stop things from going a little crazy wherever they went.
[OOC: Annnnnd welcome to the ponies visiting the Justice Ranch. This here is basically going to be a mini-log, wide open for anyone from either the visitors or the hosts to make their own threads with each other anywhere around the house. Threadjacking is encouraged! Rampant hijinks even more so! I'll be setting up three threads beneath this one for their arrival, visiting time, and departure, but beyond that this is pretty much free-form.
Let's have fun.]

Okay, Team Dash: you're looking great so far, but we've got lots of time to get you stronger and maybe even find some new recruits while we're here! Now, the Secondary members of the team stepped up their game yesterday but I say you guys can go even further!
(If 'stepping up their game' involves Dash's Zorua transforming into Ditzy long enough to scare the Duck Pokemon into falling over and hitting Rainbow point-blank with a Water Gun...)
Now, WHO'S WITH ME?!!
(Rainbow received a loud affirmation of cheers from her Pokemon, starting with Daring and going around...skipping over Blaze who was taking the opportunity to sleep, and as for Lightning? The cheers from the Electric-type unexpectedly set off a random Thundershock...which caused Rainbow's hair to kinda stand on end and look spiky.)
...Eheh, nice enthusiasm there Lightning!

Oh right. Because that's what you're supposed to do when you're taking care of a Ponyta. Damn it.
So right now, Reid in the backyard of the farm, brushing off his clothes and staring down a very, very amused-looking shiny Ponyta. Well, at least she hasn't burned him.]

Departure
... And so must this visit.]
After the battle with Riku
After taking a trip to the Pokemon Center to heal up, the young woman decided to wander off on her own. She eventually makes her way back to the clearing where their battle just took place. Since the battle began, the area had been torn apart by Dozer's rampage and resultant evolution. She quietly leans against the stump of a former tree, having been frozen solid, the remaining trunk having been shattered in the resultant battle.]

Twilight looks down at her with a soft expression of sympathy. She'd seen the last part of the battle, having been attracted by the noise that was being made. She hadn't interfered because, honestly, on some level she thinks Applejack needed this.
Doesn't mean she's not feeling pretty lousy about letting her go through it.]

Pony Encounter
Thursday around lunch-ish!
Henry huddled close to the back of the Tropius's neck as they hovered down the street. Fruit Loops was easy enough to guide, but the pokemon had to stop and hover around each of the trees that dotted the sidewalk like a curious humming bird. It looked more than a little silly.
"Fruit Loops, no! Go straight! Please!"
Tropius yay!

ANY TIME in early Feb
Maybe it was the lack of familiarity. Or maybe it was just that she didn't have the same sorts of negative associations with Goldenrod's yellow-hued streets as she did with Saffron's, in the short amount of time she'd been here.
But NEEDLESS TO SAY, on that particular day, she was out and about, hands in dark leather pockets and eyes half-lidded. Nooooot much sleep the previous night.
But ahead of her, a bouncy Growlithe pranced along the sidewalk, snuffling at various things that caught his interest. He was far more awake than his trainer.
