[ three days is a long time to wait for your brother, even though you KNOW it could have been much, much longer than that. still, Kaoru is impatient about it. he doesn't want to have to keep waiting for another second. Mikimoto is with him and Coco on the Ponyta's back. all three of them are at the place where the ferry drops people off.

Kaoru, of course, has some better clothing already in his pack for Hikaru. no offense, but they stuff that they hand out at the start of this little excursion is just a fashion disaster! on the plus side, he also has a coat, scarf, and gloves. just to be nice and make sure all of their bases are covered.

now it's just the anxiety that comes with waiting. like Kaoru's watching for Hikaru to get off of a plane after being parted for a month. an over exaggeration, but that's exactly what it is. head held high, constantly looking for what's off in the distance... ]

It's taking too long!

[Speaking over any type of communicator, no matter if it's anything from this world or back in Tokyo, is not good enough, and never will be. Being without Kaoru for three days was hard, and having to deal with the things he has in the last three days alone was even harder. He feels that maybe he's just not cut out for this stuff, because it's all so hard! Even having the company of his Vulpix wasn't enough. As cute as he is, it's just not the same as having Kaoru around!

But it's okay. The ferry was currently docking, which mean he would be seeing Kaoru soon! Not soon enough (since right this very second would be much better), but very soon nonetheless! After all the foot tapping of impatience, the couple Pokemon battles he's had with other on board, as well as boring himself to tears with reading the trainer handbook, it was almost as if it all paid off in the end, his reward being finally getting to see his brother.

As soon as the ferry comes to a stop and the passengers are able to get off, he runs as fast as he can out of the ferry.]

Kaoru?!

[He shouts as he looks for his brother, waving his arms at him when he sees him in the distance. He runs over to Kaoru with his arms wide open.]

Kaoru!

[He immediately hugs Kaoru when he gets the chance, holding onto him tightly!]
