[ three days is a long time to wait for your brother, even though you KNOW it could have been much, much longer than that. still, Kaoru is impatient about it. he doesn't want to have to keep waiting for another second. Mikimoto is with him and Coco on the Ponyta's back. all three of them are at the place where the ferry drops people off.

Kaoru, of course, has some better clothing already in his pack for Hikaru. no offense, but they stuff that they hand out at the start of this little excursion is just a fashion disaster! on the plus side, he also has a coat, scarf, and gloves. just to be nice and make sure all of their bases are covered.

now it's just the anxiety that comes with waiting. like Kaoru's watching for Hikaru to get off of a plane after being parted for a month. an over exaggeration, but that's exactly what it is. head held high, constantly looking for what's off in the distance... ]

Why? I don't keep Coco in a ball. He doesn't seem to mind if I put him back in, but for the most part, he's pretty passive about it.

The only living anything I've ever worked hard at helping and keeping company is you! It's very different with something that can probably make me burst into flames!
