Who: Sho and whoever
Where: Cherrygrove
When: Feb 5thish?
Summary: Sho is trying to get his thoughts in order and regain enough strength to go train his babies.
Rating: PG for a swear word? IDK.
Log:
There were things he had to think about that he’d never had to think about before. This world was not his world, he didn’t know the rules yet. Sure, he ignored the rules as often as he felt like it, but the truth of the matter is that an artist can only create art that breaks the rules if they know what those are. Without that basis, all you have is garbage. Some things were clear. He couldn’t do anything without these creatures, these pokemon. Much as he disliked working with people, having things work for him was perfectly acceptable in his mind. Indeed, animals; however smart they might be, were far more pleasant an idea than attempting to build up a collection of people who would follow orders.
He didn’t like owing the woman, either. Back in Shibuya? Sure, he’d take advantage of people - although in his own way he paid them back. Megaphone for microphone, for instance. It was even more important in a strange world to keep the equations balanced. Here he was out of his depth, and while he was certain that he’d figure it out soon enough - he didn’t know enough. Not yet. Having someone else to hand while he figured it out? Well, it wasn’t that much different than making a Pact. He’d follow her around and learn alongside this person who, for whatever reason, had nursed him back to health until there was a reason not to do so, and he’d pay her back so that other people looking at him wouldn’t see a sponge unwilling to pull his weight.
He was going to be the fucking best, whatever it took...and he knew that it was going to take a hell of a lot of work. He was many things, was Minamimoto Sho, but lazy wasn’t one of them. A plan of attack; create the best possible team and claw his way to the top of the ranking while looking for a way home. Use this woman to make things easier. Be the best. He’d adjust as he needed to, he wasn’t the kind of person to stick to one plan if something better came along.
These thoughts in mind, Sho was making his way around the town carefully as he worked to rebuild his stamina after so long sick. Sure, RZF was fretting when she wasn’t trying to steal from pockets (his or passers by) but the ex-Reaper was determined.
He'd talk to anyone who wanted to talk, though. It'd be a nice break from walking.

Welcome to what Belphe had tolerated the last week or so while trying to train her.

Had it been a wild encounter, Belphegor would have found herself incredibly annoyed at the loss. Though, as it was...
"Well done." she said, unshouldering her backpack to retrieve a potion and apply it to her defeated teammate. In short order, Wisp hopped back to her feet, shaking her head before zipping back into the air to alight gently on Belphe's head, staring at Sho as if she'd only just discovered him.

"I had done some reading over the last few days when I could find the time. It appears some of the cities have a gym leader who will reward you with a badge upon defeating them in a pokemon battle. I am made to wonder if collecting all of them is the objective."

Beelze huffed up, flexing. She ain't afraid of no Falkner.

"This is what we'd be breaking." she informed him, beginning to walk again to keep them moving. On the screen was an article about Falkner, Violet City's "Elegant Master Of Flying Pokemon".
The photograph accompanying the article was the blue-haired gym leader looking solemnly at the camera, flanked by his Honchkrow, Noctowl, and Pidgeot.

While the most laid-back of the seven sisters, it was not to be said that Belphe could not be just as nasty when she was of a mind.

No one was defeating anyone if they didn't get where they were going.
"We'll get there, Hades..." she said flatly.

The ponyta had, indeed, come a long way from the clumsy long-legged colt that had hatched in the Cherrygrove inn and now seemed much more driven and sure of himself.

"This time we won't be made to resort to eating mushrooms and ferns, at least."
....and ending up with Sho in a river, for that matter.
