[Shopping. Mom hasn't had a woman her age to shop with just for fun in too damn long. And, man, she kind of needs it. Now that they're stopping in an actual city for a while, she realizes just how much she needs an overhaul in her wardrobe. Plus, since they use her Onix for traveling, it's not all that bad to have some hefty luggage with them.

So, Mom goes to find Val. When she does, there's a huge grin on her face.]

Vaaaaaaal, you know what we should do? Shop for clothes. Just the two of us.

[ Valeria isn't particularly hard to find in the early hours of the morning, but especially on her days off. She usually starts them off with training well before the sun rises, then grabs a shower, then breakfast, and kicks back in her room for a little while after that. Well, inasmuch as she's able considering the number of baby Pokemon she has to look after these days. They've been pretty tame, though. Tame enough that when Mom approaches, Valeria tears her eyes away from them to look at Mom and brightens, even more so at the blond's words. ]

You know, I was actually thinking about asking you the same thing.

[ Because while she's fond of her Turk uniform and more than a little reluctant to dawn something else, there is no Shin-Ra here and wearing it isn't exactly making it any easier for her to adjust, not to mention the issue of maintaining it. Not that wearing something else will make her any less of a Turk, of course, but she does need an actual wardrobe that includes weather appropriate clothes and she's a little on the rusty side when it comes to picking things outside of the company catalog. Who better to ask for help but Mom? She's clearly fashionable. That, and the idea does sound like a fun one. ]

Great minds, hm? When were you thinking? [ Because Valeria is thinking today sounds like a pretty good day for a shopping venture. ]

[Yes, yes good. This is turning out to be even better than she expected.]

I was thinking today, if you're not doing anything?

I'm free! These two -- [ and she gestures at the baby Pawniard and Starly moving about the room ] -- are a lot tamer than Cas was when he first hatched, after all. What time would be best for you?

Five minutes from now?

[Mom's acting like Christmas came early, like all her hopes and dreams came true all at once.]

[ Oh, Mom. Valeria can't help but laugh, brightening visibly. Guess who was thinking sooner than later, too? ]

Five minutes from now would be perfect. That's all the time I need to get these two squared away. Meet me at the door? [ Of the inn, that is. ]

Of course!

[She'll be at the door of the inn, after leaving a note for Bro telling him where they've gone. Awww yeaaah, shopping with Val!]

[ Valeria will take the full five minutes to get everyone squared away; though, it's mostly the recent hatchers she's really concerned about. Them and Dr. Dre the Jigglypuff, anyway, but they don't give her too much trouble and she's on her way to the door soon enough. Offering Mom a salute in greeting, she smiles wide. ]

[Mom grins back and heads off.]

There was a cute little boutique not far from the Center, if I recall correctly. Perhaps we could start there?
