What: This is the tale of two idiots who got a crazy idea. Ren would help Crow infiltrate the Team Rocket base. It's time to put said plan to action.

[Somewhere in Goldenrod, Ren and Crow are meeting to plan their upcoming adventure.]

[What is behind door number one...]

[So far so good. Everything had gone as planned and they hadn't raised any suspicion. Of course it wasn't still a time to relax because anything could go wrong at any moment.

But it was time for the most important thing which was stealing... well, Crow stealing and Ren just being on watch. Ren had no idea who lived in what room, but there had to be something to get as a souvenir... right? Right.

First came a knock to see if anyone was in the room. Once there was no sound at all coming from the room it was time to go in. If there had been someone in a room they would have needed to come up with some excuse, but luckily this time that wasn't the case.]

[As they step into room 518, the place seems largely abandoned and pretty sparse. There's an open book (what might be a diary) on a desk, a backpack slumped next to the bed, and a dresser in the corner. Nothing else.

Still, one of those might contain something interesting. The question is, where to start?]

Escaping

[Whoops - gotta go! Let's get out of here.]

[pianosongs]

[So Masato has been watching this entire ordeal with extreme distaste. Jinguji is nothing but trouble, and he has half a mind to tell the admins where he and his little friend are trying to hide, but instead, he's going to seek them out himself. He still feels like death, but congrats, you punks, you got him out of bed.]

Jinguji. What are you doing?!

[-- have the worst timing ever, will you, Hijirikawa?]

None of your business -- Go back to bed, idiot!

[While Crow has no idea who the guy is, seeing as he hasn't called for other grunts yet and seems to be having... let's call it a civilized conversation with Ren, he assumes he's not too dangerous -- though obviously trusting him in this kind of situation is out of question.]

Yeah, if you're not here to cause us trouble, we'd appreciate if you stayed outta the way.

[... That coming from the guy who might be the reason for all this trouble to begin with.]

[pianosongs]

[Masato just gives Crow a very displeased look before turning back to Jinguji. Not here to cause trouble, you're the ones causing trouble, gosh!]

Never mind me. Why did you do something this unbelievably stupid? [He looks over his shoulder for a second, then walks closer. Coast is clear, for the moment.] Are you just going to get yourself kicked out? Is that how you planned on leaving? [Because he's fine with that if you actually escape.] Don't come back, though. Petrel might turn some rabid pokémon loose on the both of you.

I wasn't planning on staying or coming back here. [He's not stupid, after all.] Shouldn't you be worrying about yourself instead? If they spot you just talking to me and not trying to do something, you'll get in trouble as well.

[darkenedgales]

[Oh, sure, go ahead and ignore him, why the hell not. Crow scowls a bit, not pleased with what's going on. Whoever the guy is, he could wait with his criticism until they're out of the place.]

So sorry to interrupt [no, he doesn't sound sorry at all] but we're kinda done here, so we'll be on our way. You can call later and talk this over all you wanna, but now's not the right time!

[IS HE THE ONLY PERSON CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR WELL-BEING HERE?]

[Obviously. Masato doesn't even give Crow another look, just taking a moment to cough into his hands. Completely disregarding Jinguji's counter-questioning, he just points down the hall.]

You're probably going to have to create a diversion if you want to escape without too much fuss. They're trying to get reinforcements they're trying to get at the entrance, so you might have to sneak out through the back entrance.

[Yeah sorry Crow. Ren does agree with you, but he's annoyed at Hijirikawa. Even if he's helping, it would seem, but something about this whole deal just ticked him off.]

How can I be sure you're not trying to lure us into a trap? You've always had something against me, so I wouldn't be surprised if you--

[Then again, not even Hijrikawa would probably do that. No matter how bad their relationship with one another was.
