I expect a certain degree of discipline from my team. It's the duty of any captain to bring out the best of the people he oversees — even if, frequently, his methods seem harsh on any one individual, it's ultimately the good of the team that matters.

[Still, while he's not pleased with Jack's antics, girls do tend to like cute animals, and Jack is assuredly adorable and vulpine. So he ends up holding the Zorua the way one might a puppy, cradled in one arm and secure against his chest.]

I find him much more amenable without the guise, don't you?
