How NOT to spend Valentines.

Summary: Natsuki wanted to buy a dress for their good friend (also crush) Haruka Nanami and asked for Shou's help. Unfortunately for Shou, he went a little overboard.

A lot of people who knew Shou and saw this girl now probably wondered about how closely she resembled him. It probably would take them long to see ... that the girl was indeed Shou.
How did this happen?!

Well, Natsuki had a plan.

A plan to give Nanami the best Valentines present ever. He managed to somehow convince Shou that he needed his help for this mission. Unfortunately, neither of them knew her size. All Natsuki could say was she was around Shou's size. Then Natsuki made a suggestion: they will use Shou's body. Of course, Shou had refused. Why should he wear a dress!?

Natsuki had given him a sad look and said, "But Haruka-chan ... would look so good in this."

Things happened, and before Shou knew it he agreed to fit just one dress. This was all for Nanami, right?

That was all the answer that Natsuki needed -- and what had happened was this. On the outside, it may appear that Natsuki was on a date with a girl... but this same girl was screaming her head off at the taller one who was currently taking pictures of her.


"But, Syo-chan! You look so cute and it really suits you!"

"I DON'T LOOK CUTE WEARING THIS, NOW STOP IT ALREADY!!"

Those two were sure making a lot of noise. Not that Mitsuki cared about it too much, because sometimes she was the type to yell at public places too... But the other boy's looks and the fact that he seemed to like cute things caught her attention. Also the fact that he called the girl Syo-chan and they mentioned Haruka-chan earlier...

The real girl here walked a little closer in her extremely girly style to take a good look.

"I think it looks really cute on you! ...Of course it will look adorable on Haruka-chan, but..."

Oh, sorry. Did you want help? Better first impressions? Not happening right now.

Shou was nearly ready to shout again, but instead he momentarily froze completely realizing who was speaking was another girl -- and one he didn't know. Carefully, even though his eye was twitching, he turned his head to acknowledge her, and shortly said:

"The important thing is that it looks good on Nanami -- not me."

He's insisting! It's all for Nanami!!

...At least she seems kind of -- sweet, herself, despite what she said. Nanami's friend--?

"But -- you know her?"

Oh, look, Shou! Of course, Natsuki is not listening. He was pleased and overjoyed that someone complimented his taste. She likes this little girl already --- ara! And lo and behold! She was such a cutie too!

"You're so cute," He told Mitsuki. He isn't flirting, Mitsuki. Don't worry! He just really loves cute things and people and is stating what he thinks before even thinking about it. "See Shou-chan? Even this cute girl agrees that I was right! It does look good on you. Isn't that great?"

What began as a shopping mission for Nanami-chan was now partly an excuse to see little Shou in a dress without his protesting so much. Natsuki began talking to the sales ladies and got another dress that he chose for Nanami that was in a similar size to Shou's. It was really great they finally know her size. "Ah, by the way, Shou-chan. The nice ladies were nice enough to pack your clothes too."

It looks like Shou would be wearing the outfit the rest of the trip back.

She was a little amused by that. "Okay, let's say that that's the most important thing. I'm sure she'll love the dress."

Mitsuki smiled at Natsuki's compliment. "Thank you very much." Hey, flirting or not, she was always glad to hear good things about her looks. Not that she would even go out if she didn't like the way she looked now, when her confidence was higher than ever.

And while Natsuki was talking to the ladies, Mitsuki remembered Shou's question for her.

"Yeah, I know her. We met when she was doing all those hairstyles for Ren - though I've known Ren even longer than her. I also met Hijirikawa-san..." Or however she should address that guy. "You two are from the same band too?"

It wasn't exactly a real question, it was more like her making sure about things. Shou didn't exactly look like himself, but Natsuki really looked like what Ren had told her. No doubt they were those two.

Shou was standing there furiously clenching a fist at Natsuki's words, wanting to shout again, but this new girl's presence, and the fact that she knew Nanami, soon made him deflate some and turn his face away in a huff.

"You didn't need to pack them! I wanted to wear them back, idiot!"

Well, he at least said that, but it wasn't nearly as loud as how he shouted earlier. With a groan, he'll turn to the other girl, now.

"Well, I hope she'll like it, or it wouldn't be worth all this trouble otherwise! A-and we did want to get something for her..."

Well, that was the truth. He just didn't expect to have to model for it.

The mention of Ren earlier also ticked him off a bit -- really, what was with him and what was he even up to, lately? -- though, huh, it seems she's met all of them, now.

"Uh, yeah! Jinguji told you that?"

He'll turn to Natsuki, now. They didn't really talk much about the alternate timelines, yet...

"Did he say much about the band before we all talked together?"

"Eh? You wanted to change back?" He is really confused why in the world you would ever do that. "But why? Shou-chan looks so cute. Everybody thinks so. Shou-chan looks like a princess."

That's the problem, Natuski.

Turning to Mitsuki, he knew that she would be in full agreement too. He gives a playful grin and asked, "Right?"

At the mention of the band, Natsuki did become a little quiet. He remembered his last conversation with Ren and couldn't quite forget the danger Ren and Hijiri were in. When he noticed how quiet he was, he then brought back his usual carefree smile hopefully before Mitsuki would notice. He didn't want to worry this little cutie and answered Shou's question.

"Nope. He didn't say anything at all!"

She is very amused by these two, hopefully it's not showing too much from her face. She's really trying to keep her grin as tiny as possible.

Mitsuki nods a few times at Shou. "I'm sure she'll love it, so you two did a good job at finding something for her. Looks like it's the right size too." A girl with some experience with clothing can tell that much even when he's wearing it.

She blinks a few times when Natsuki calls him a princess. Great, now it's even more difficult to not be amused. "I -- guess we could say so."

She turns her face back to Shou. "I'm sorry." Ren had such amusing friends.

And back to Natsuki! "But maybe him wearing his own clothes is a better idea..." Well, it would be less amusing at least.

She notices the little change in the atmosphere. It doesn't take a genius to notice something like that and the most important year of her life taught the girl a lot. Uhmmmh, time to lighten it, somehow?

"Sorry if I said something wrong." Yeah, she's worried about it, kind of. It's okay, she'll get over it easily. "Ummm, we were talking about music and it came up after I told him that I'm a solo artist."

Shou was once again trying to contain his annoyance and rage, his fist shaking, but it soon drops at the compliments and Mitsuki's apologies and explanation.

"Oi! You don't have to apologize, he's the idiot! -- And yeah, it'd be much better if I could wear my own clothes back! It seems like you have the right idea!"

To Natsuki, he growls out:

"I don't want to look like a princess, that's why! You know I have my style, I can't look like this!"

And, well - now he was curious. He looks back to Mitsuki.

"You're a solo artist? Really?"

He didn't expect that of her...! Well, she didn't really seem to have a "style" herself, other than maybe -- averagely cute?...

He'll exchange another glance with Natsuki, too.

"Let's talk about that later, then."

Maybe it'd be best to change the subject while with someone unaware, after all.

Oh, look! What is this, Shou? He isn't listen to you. He is talking to a random stranger that was asking him which one of the two pretty girls is his girlfriend. Natsuki laughed and told of them neither was his girlfriend and he didn't have one. The person looked surprised and told him to choose one of the girls. He asked which one was the closest to him.

Eh? That was easy. "Shou-chan of course."

More encouragements for him to ask her out. More confused looks from Natsuki. What were they saying? He is not computing. He makes a very innocent comment, "Eh? That's impossible. Shou-chan's a guy."

He waves to Shou and laughs. "Right, Shou-chan?!"

"Maybe we can get your own clothes back to you... Somehow..."

Mitsuki gives a worried look Natsuki. Talking about getting Shou's clothes back didn't seem to work at all. Maybe, if he'd be too busy talking with the others, but that would be kind of rude.

These boys have their own styles? She really wants to help the prince out of the princess dress, but the question is how to distract Natsuki?

No way he doesn't have to be that much surprised by the fact that she's a solo artist.

"Yeah, really... Is that really so surprising? I got signed when I was 12." Kind of.

That's when she was Fullmoon. Then she had a three year break for -- reasons, before coming back under her own name.

...Oh dear, Natsuki, what are you doing? She might be getting a bit nervous here, but she's still trying to stay calm.
