Summary: It's starter appreciation day, so Luke and Flora are having a picnic in celebration of their starters.

[Mt. Mortar wasn't the most ideal place for a picnic, but after making a quick stop into town before Starter Appreciation Day, Luke's already got a blanket set up with all kinds of food set up - both for humans and Pokemon. There's three guests of honor for this little party - Mr. Bear the Ursaring, Claire the Ninetales, and Flora's Gible. Luke's managed to get party hats on all his Pokemon, but he's a little unsure if he wants to try putting one on the Gible. Those teeth look pretty sharp after all.

After getting set up, he'll turn and call to Flora.]</small>

[The party hat is definitely a challenge. Her Gible is just eyeing the picnic food, but Flora knows he has to behave and wait. Special guest or not, that wouldn't give him any right to eat everything before it was even prepared. Kneeling in front of him, she pulls him over and holds the hat out, trying to explain where it goes. But because of his facial shape, the first time she tried to get it on, it popped right off and hit his nose. The second time, it didn't work either. But that was what had given her an idea...

Flora's definitely beaming once she returns over. The hat was a success, the little pointed cone resting on top of his head-fin as opposed to in front of his face. And he seems ten times happier. It was definitely worth the little gnaw marks on her arm. (It was apparently done out of 'love', so she won't complain.)]

We're back! Ah, Luke, it looks so great!
