It came as a surprise to Sho, but he honestly enjoyed working at the shop. He was good with clothing, even if not everyone seemed to understand why he made the suggestions he made. Still, people left with clothing that worked for them, and he enjoyed figuring out things stats and building appropriate wardrobes.

Having to work only part-time was annoying. Belphe was making more than him, and it drove him crazy (so to speak) that he wasn't able to beat her earnings level. He had to do something to soothe his ego.

Which is why when she returned to their room in the inn he hit her in the face with an outfit. Warm, comfortable, stylish.

As the fabric fwopped over her head, Belphegor came to the conclusion she was growing just a bit weary of this sort of greeting.

"I have my own pants now." she assured him, offering the outfit back to him without giving it a proper examination. Were he anyone else, she would have wondered if it was a not-so-subtle hint to do their laundry...in which case they would be "gently" reminded she did not follow the demands of humans.

Being openly handed everything to do, however, was an entirely different matter...

"It's a second outfit." Sho said, from where he was lazing on her bed, "High DEF, good ATK, sturdy to avoid stray powers from the Pokemon. Fits your style, too. All..." he waved a hand, "Uptight and attracting."

He didn't have much of a sex drive, but he did know clothing.

Her expression flatlined at being called 'uptight'. Though...at hearing the outfit was intended for her, her attention was drawn back to it, looking at the bundle of fabric uncertainly.

It was one thing to borrow a pair of unflattering pants as a means of not freezing during travel. It was, perhaps, another to receive clothing as an apparent gift. Anyone who knew her also knew that Belphe had a hard time receiving kindness from others and CERTAINLY never received gifts.

Red eyes flicked uncertainly between him and the bundle before gingerly unfurling it to investigate. She could, at least, do that much.

It was dark colours, black trousers and a navy-blue shirt/coat thing. The cut would maximize her assets, without exposing any skin below the neck beyond her hands and feet. No decorations beyond a couple of straps from right shoulder to left waist that she could use to hang little things.

Sho watched her look at it with hooded eyes.

It walked the line between being fashionable and being sensible...a surprisingly good match for her all-in-all. Though it also raised misgivings as she examined the hidden implications. That Sho did not believe she or her master did a good enough job of dressing her.

"It's very nice of you." she began, folding it over on her arm. "...but I don't know that I can accept it."

"Good to have a second set of clothing." Sho pointed out lazily, "The ones I got fit, you got tents. I'm good with clothes." Besides. She was still bringing in most of the damn money, and she took care of him when he was sick.

"I have several sets." she pointed out. "Though, I'm not surprised you don't remember. You were still sick when I went to get them."

While Asmodeus loved to preen in whatever princess clothes she happened to find, and Mammon enjoyed the luxurious feel of suede, silk, and satin on her skin, Belphegor was strictly interested in things serving their purpose. The outfits she'd chosen to travel in, therefore, were plain, durable, and did nothing to compliment her.

Sho groaned and facepalmed, trying to figure out how to say this without pissing her off. "Your clothing is functional. It is not awesome. I got you awesome clothing."

Although as she didn't seem to want it, the Purrloin on the bed launched off to grab the clothing for herself and look at it.

The remark didn't particularly offend her. 'Awesome', after all, was not a factor she held in consideration when buying clothes. She seemed about to tell him so before the garments were snatched from her grasp by a blur of purple.

She blinked, and then turned her head, watching dispassionately as RZF made off with her new outfit.

"I see your taste is desirable." she remarked.

"I have excellent taste in clothing." Sho informed her as he unfolded from the bed to rescue the clothing from his little cat-thing. However the head he exposed when lifting the tunic was...not so little.

"Huh. This world's evolution is irrational." RZF just purred and stretched to show off her new Liepard's body. Yeah. She was awesome.
