Meet me where the snowmelts flows
Who: Lee, Clementine, and Laguna
Where: New Bark Town
When: 4/18
Summary: Lee is finally going to be reunited with his sweet pea, and Clementine with the guardian she never thought she'd see again.
Rating: I can't see it going above G. Maybe PG, thematically.
Log:
Honestly, the two days that he spent waiting for her was the most nerve-wracking of his life. After being told that they would be in New Bark before he would be able to get to the next town, he'd had no choice but to spend two anxious nights sleeping in the house he'd woken up in.
But finally- finally! -the day had come. Lee stood outside waiting, watching the sky since Clementine said they would be flying.

Clementine could enjoy the flight less and less each day - it had begun as a ride to Lee that she was thrilled to take, and become a trip too long, and the height was nothing - she wasn't high or flying at all as far as she cared in the front of her mind but doing nothing but going to New Bark Town, quickly as she could, scouring the ground hypervigilantly, the way a bird might, to tell her when they were there.
The birds hadn't even reached the village's sky space when her eyes popped wide on catching a figure in blue against the grass, and squeaked a gasp, looking over to Laguna, calling "There Lee! It's him!" because it had to be. The newcomers had cleared out who hadn't had reason to stay. A single man in blue stood nearly still out in the town.

But, as he saw Clementine's reaction, he nodded. "Looks like! Come on, guys - let's go and land!" he said, commanding both Chobi and Riley - it was time for Laguna to see such a sweet reunion... one he couldn't help but be a bit sad about. Not because they were meeting! Oh, no! It was just... he missed Ellone, even more.

When he started waving his arms over his head upon seeing the two enormous winged creatures, he probably looked even crazier.
"Clementine!" He paid practically no heed to the safe animal interaction rules that he knew, running to scoop Clementine into a hug pretty much as soon as the bird and the dinosaur had landed.

"I missed you a lot," she mumbled.
--ack, i missed the notif, sorry!
Laguna, though, was still going to be there. Just in case things got messy - or in case he was called upon. It wouldn't be right to just abandon his girl and her guardian straight away, after all.
Psht I am even the latest later 8D;
"I missed you too, sweet pea," he mumbled in return. He pulled back and looked at her with a warm smile, ruffling her hat on her head and then pulling her into another hug, one that was less desperate clinging. "God, I never thought I'd see you again." After the way that they had had to say goodbye...

Definitely fine.
Off the ground in a hug, that was all that there was to know.
Once her feet were on the grass again and she opened her eyes they were on the verge of spilling over though she was not sad anymore, not because of all the things that had happened so many months ago or because of the bite, or the shot, and when the ruffling of her hat got her beaming she suddenly felt it sure and strong, heavy but warm and bright like a big all-fluorescent-red coalstone, setting the thick lump raising in her throat and her eyes feeling to be less wet than sparkling...
And she sniffed thickly, too, as she returned the second hug, beaming on.]
Me neither...
[She mumbled it. It wasn't a fantastic thing to say. She'd hoped, but never expected.
A many-months' memory struck her. She took a step back to give Lee a beam, somewhat hopefully.]
...This is lucky!

"Well - seems I got her back nice and safe, huh?" he says, more to himself. He's... he's happy. Really. He promised her she'd find those she missed, she'd get back to everybody... and this is the beginning, huh? Just a lot more left, right?
Pretty simple.

"It sure is. Guess my lucky streak still isn't over, huh." It was true that since he met Clementine, his luck had been about as high as it could go for a while. Hell, if not for Clementine, he probably wouldn't have lasted as long as he did. He doubted that the little girl really knew how much she meant to him, but she understood that they were all each other had anymore.
He stood up when he heard Laguna approach, leaving one hand open for Clementine to take, as he extended his other in greeting to Laguna.
"You must be Laguna," he said. "I'm Lee. Lee Everett. Nice to meet you face to face."
Bah why on Earth did I use brackets up there? X_X I violated the consistency of the log!
She nodded. "Laguna and Ushio and me all started traveling together on our first day. ...Our Pokémon, too."
Their Pokémon - she would need to introduce Lee to Lee! And to Ben, Kenny III, Carley, Mark, Chuck, Larry, Katjaa, and Doug...
