Summary: It may not be Nightmare Moon for another four months, but anytime is a good time for pulling pranks on your closest friends since they're all in good fun!
Rating: G for hilarity and pranks galore!

After recent events, both which were both quite perplexing and surprising to believe, now was definitely the time. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie discussed repeatedly for the past few nights how things would go down, whichpony -or dragon- they would personally prank while also doing their best to avoid getting caught by them.
The problem was, they couldn't avoid them for long especially since one had exceptionally high-leveled Pokemon and the other's Pokemon were at high levels but not that high...still, that didn't mean the Pokemon had to miss out on the fun too!
Quiet, wicked laughter may or may not be heard as the two Prankster ponies moved out and put their plan into action: OPERATION: PRANKS DAY has begun!
This isn't an actual holiday of any kind and shouldn't be performed under any circumstances unless you REALLY love pranks.

Tower was looking a bit tired (finally), so she elected to call a break and reached for her balls to pull her mons back in...
And noticed that they were gone.
She of course approached the problem carefully and methodically, except for the part where she freaked out and began running around the whole beach trying to find her balls. Eventually she came to the conclusion that they simply were not where she'd left them, or anywhere they could have been knocked to. But then what had happened to them? Had they been stolen by Team Rocket? No, that wouldn't make any sense, what would Rockets want with empty Pokeballs?
She was getting nowhere. She needed to think over the situation and all the possibilities, and try to figure out what was most likely. Tossing out one of the balls she still had, she summoned Starswirl to her side.
"Starswirl, we have a problem. I need you to warp us back to the inn so I can try to find out where these four's pokeballs are."
One teleport later, Twilight was rushing up to her room, trusting in her lead mons to keep order while she grabbed her notes...
And that's when she realized. They were gone.
And her bookshelves looked a lot emptier too.
And that's when it clicked. Who would take her pokeballs, her notes, and her books? Who could possibly have any use for all of those?
No one. So the only reason they were taken was to mess with her.
And the people most likely to want to mess with her were...
"Pinkie! Rainbow!"

Rainbow popped her head into Twilight's room, her smile just a little too eager and/or innocent-looking to pass off as normal. Plus, she didn't move from her spot at the door.

COLOR EACH OF YOUR PRECIOUS POKEMON EXACTLY LIKE THEY WOULD LOOK IF THEY WERE REALLY REAL SHINIES!
Hope the loud noises and screams from your Pokemon don't wake you up 'cause if that happens you may find yourself without a hat, AJ...and anypony who might've done it has left it!

Have you gotten used to how clothes are shown here in this strange new world? You might be distracted from either taking care of your little ones or making new clothes by noticing two of your best friends, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie...and they would both be wearing a pair of bright orange and green bellbottoms pants, but at least their shirts are different...no, wait!
Rainbow Dash has on a bright yellow shirt that only matches ONE of the colors in her mane and can't possibly match those pants! What about Pinkie Pie? Stare too long at WHAT she has on for a shirt, you may faint from utter astonishment.
The question is, which one of your friends do you try and help from this fashion don't? For now it can't be both...only onepony deserves your ability as the holder of Generosity!)

Took that belt in... just a BIT of highlight around the edges, and pull your hair up... that requires a significant makeover, but it's JUST workable with that fabric...
She rounds the corner and sees something that nearly makes her vomit. It's one of her friends in an awful, garish pair of pants, with an off-putting yellow shirt on top. It's not haphazard, it's not even eccentric - goodness knows she's gotten used to Imogen's fashion choices. It's just... wrong.
Luckily she's right next to the Cianwood inn. She ducks inside and sprints up the stairs to find a dress, a jacket, anything... and there's ANOTHER of her friends in the same pants! She sits down hard on the floor.
"Has everypony lost their MINDS?!"

Rainbow Dash turned at hearing the other girl's cry, a grin on her face as she turned, her color quite different from Pinkie's but they were the same pair of pants regardless.

"Okay. Okay. Pull yourself together, Rarity." She stands, drawing herself up to full height, and stares Rainbow Dash in the eye. "Where in Celestia's name did you find those?"

What's that on the nearest table in the inn? It looks like some popcorn meant for a human...or a dragon! But this doesn't look like normal popcorn...they look like gems! SAPPHIRE-like gem-shaped popcorn! Just be careful when you pop one in your mouth, since one of them? A fireball candy that will make your face go really red before you breathe fire!

Lots of ponies may or may not be trying to get some sleep today but if Cadence is, she'll wake up to a strange feeling on her face: she's been drawn or tagged, and not with a new cutie mark! Her face has the most glitteriest of glitters, a lightning bolt on one cheek with a tiny star drawn, and some tiny balloons on her other cheek with a cloud!
Don't worry, it comes off after a while but you should consider yourself lucky the girls didn't try messing with your hair; the last thing they want is TWO angry ponies after them! The two being Twilight and Rarity...)

...Though she did have to wonder why some of her pillow ended up covered with glitter, so she decided that a quick visit to the mirror will answer that question. Mirror mirror, on the wall...

...Actually, scratch that. The answer's pretty obvious. It's also met with Cadence's gentle laughter.)

Of course, this still won't stop either Dash or Pinkie Pie from this: their ULTIMATE prank ever!
Quiet tiptoeing and very quiet laughing takes place here as the girls' bags are looked through carefully as well as Spike's...and as quick as a hiccup, since Pinkie can hiccup pretty fast, clothes are swiped from their bags before they're zipped right back up with the pony perpetrators sneaking off! This leaves the poor victims with nothing to wear but their swimsuits! Wait, did one of the girls leave the 'Gear on to catch the post-action events? Which pony would try such a shocking prank like this one? Both, without question.
It would totally provoke two, maybe three, definitely ALL of the ponies involved...maybe not Spike, but still anypony else...!)
