With the perky new song singing about the city, the summer Bug-Catching contest is back on in full force! With everything that's been going on lately, it's high time they start some for-fun things to do. So, mid-afternoon on Thursday, they gather the participants. After the participants check their other pokémon in at the front, they're all asked to line up in the front. From there, one park official reads the rules while another passes out twenty sport balls. Then once everything's settled, they're just about ready to go!

Three... Two... One... Catch!

I found it! I found it!

[Pinkie Pie bounces joyfully around Rainbow Dash. Even Gumdrop the Jigglypuff looks so proud.]

(Give her about 5-10 seconds...then Rainbow Dash puts her hands on Pinkie's shoulders to stop her 'cause she was starting to get dizzy.)

What'd you find? Some kind of cool Pokémon?

You wouldn't believe what I found. Rainbow Dash meet~ [She holds up a Butterfree] Rainbow Dash!

(She's right. Rainbow doesn't quite believe what she's found, 'cause she blinks repeatedly at the Butterfree for a moment. She's sure Pinkie will teach it awesome attacks but still.)

...You named a Butterfree after me?!

[Although, a shiny would of been better but hey, wind attacks and sprinkles different colors of dust? Why not!]

(Yes, Rainbow will admit a shiny would've been better but...if Pinkie chose Butterfree, why not?)

...Thanks, Pinkie Pie. You gotta teach Rainbow here some sweet attacks, got it? Her awesomeness will be seen in all your future Gym battles, and non-Gym battles.

Hear that Rainbow, we got work to do. You want to be awesome too right? [The little Butterfree puffs up it's body before letting out a cry.]

(Ah-ha, Rainbow salutes in turn but doesn't puff her chest; they're not really soldiers, after all.)

Don't forget any moves that come close to looking like a Sonic Rainboom: you know, Supersonic, Whirlwind, PsyBeam...cool moves like those. (PsyBeam was the only offensive move, plus one of the most powerful attacks a Butterfree could learn; the others either left the defendng Pokemon confused or caused a Pokemon to be switched mid-battle...definitely something to ask Twilight about! If either one of them remembered.)
