Breeding Center Open Log
Who: Everyone living at or visiting the Breeding Centre in Goldenrod.
Where: The Breeding Centre in Goldenrod.
When: July 10th through the 18th.
Summary: Several people planning to participate in the bug catching conventions have been invited to stay at the Breeding Centre. Between them and the current staff, what sort of shenanigans will they get up to?
(Note: All visitors/residents are encouraged to make their own threads. More than one of them, if you want!)
Rating: PG... Maybe up to PG-13 (watching you, Lancer).
Log:
The Breeding Centre was not a small building. In the past, it had housed several residents quite comfortably, but time and disappearances had whittled those numbers down to the point where there were now several vacant rooms.
This made it the perfect place to gather if you had business around Goldenrod.
Besides, with the amount of Pokemon that had been left behind and taken into the Foster Care, it seemed only natural to open up the doors to those who might be interested in seeing them.
And so the doors had been thrown open for several visitors for the duration of their stay. Now the only question was, would this turn out to be just what the Centre needed... Or a complete disaster?

[ Because why else would Illya be so excited for shopping... ]
no subject
You. Are coming with me. Now.
[And she reaches out to grab Xion's hand.]
no subject
yup, still wearing that coat in this weather, fight me. ]To what? Do you need me to carry your stuff, Illya?
no subject
No, you silly girl. I'm not the only one we're shopping for.
no subject
[ You need to be direct, Illya. Direct! ]
no subject
[She's now gone straight into exasperated disbelief, and is very much wondering if Xion's doing this on purpose.]
You know what, don't answer that. I'm getting you something and I'm not taking no for an answer, understand?
no subject
What's wrong with my coat? It's not the only clothing I have, but I am more used to it.
no subject
[She frowns, trying to puzzle out the best words for what she wants to say.]
A little change is healthy sometimes. I mean, you look good in black, but I wanted to see you try something else.
no subject
[ She scratches the side of her head in a little embarrassment. ]
Sure, I think? I'll pay for the clothes with my own money, though.
no subject
We'll worry about that later, okay? Just have fun with me for now.
no subject
Alright. I can do that.
no subject
[Ilya, don't talk to her like a dog.]
It's a bit of a walk to get to the Department Store though, so what should we talk about on the way...
[She raises a finger to her chin on the hand that's not holding Xion's and taps it repeatedly, trying to think of something.]
no subject
[ She tries to think long and hard about subjects that could possibly entertain Illya. ]
Well, last time we talked... You wanted to talk about where I came from in return for having talked about what goes on in your world?
no subject
Ahhhh, you remembered! So, what can you tell me? Anything is fine!
no subject
[ She abruptly pauses. The thing that surprised her the most about coming here was the fact that she was alive in the first place. Quickly, she tries to say it another way. ]
--I didn't come here voluntarily. Like I did with the others.

[ Pause, trying to think of how to make this clear to Illya. ]
I mean, worlds are huge, after all. Though I could only visit portions of them, these backdoors allowed me get in, out, or around other worlds. As for how I could do it... Hmm, I wouldn't be able to properly explain. I could just do it.
[ And just to make it not seem like she's the only one-- ]
Other people could do it, too. There are a few other means, but mine was the quickest. [ And more dangerous being the trade off, but that doesn't need to be said right now. ]
no subject
So you could just sort of... walk through a door from one world to another? Like a portal? Did you make them or were they set up for you?
no subject
I think those paths were always there to begin with, and it's more that we 'summon' the portals so that we could go in and out of them.
no subject
[Which would explain why Xion doesn't really know the details.]
So do you have a "home" world then, or do you just travel between worlds like a nomad?
no subject
I had a world to go back to, but it wasn't my true home. More... a base of operations, really.
no subject
[She looks a bit wistful as a thought occurs to her.]
Though, I guess you could sort of say I had the opposite problem. My family never let me outside my home until they were starting to prepare for the war.
no subject
[ Illya looked about as young as her... well, physically, at least. ]
no subject
[Of course, as she's already told Xion, that was agonizingly painful. Though she still has no intention of telling her exactly what it entailed.]
Then once the bond was cemented and the War was about to start, they sent me to a Manor near Fuyuki City where the War was going to take place. I lived there with my two maids and Berserker until the War started.
no subject
[ Was that okay with her? ]
