Breeding Center Open Log
Who: Everyone living at or visiting the Breeding Centre in Goldenrod.
Where: The Breeding Centre in Goldenrod.
When: July 10th through the 18th.
Summary: Several people planning to participate in the bug catching conventions have been invited to stay at the Breeding Centre. Between them and the current staff, what sort of shenanigans will they get up to?
(Note: All visitors/residents are encouraged to make their own threads. More than one of them, if you want!)
Rating: PG... Maybe up to PG-13 (watching you, Lancer).
Log:
The Breeding Centre was not a small building. In the past, it had housed several residents quite comfortably, but time and disappearances had whittled those numbers down to the point where there were now several vacant rooms.
This made it the perfect place to gather if you had business around Goldenrod.
Besides, with the amount of Pokemon that had been left behind and taken into the Foster Care, it seemed only natural to open up the doors to those who might be interested in seeing them.
And so the doors had been thrown open for several visitors for the duration of their stay. Now the only question was, would this turn out to be just what the Centre needed... Or a complete disaster?

[ Not to mention her "face clone". That was weird! ]
no subject
[Not that she's surprised about that at all at this point, given what she's learned, but it's still interesting.]
no subject
[ Sounds right to her. ] Yes, individuals from parallel worlds meet here. It is how I was able to meet your mother even after...
[ Swallowing the bile down hard, she finds her gaze opposite of the girl. Oops. ]
no subject
Then they shift over to Iris. After a couple moments, she whispers:]
I'll see her again.
no subject
[ Somehow. Since Saber's said it now, that much is a guarantee. How will she accomplish it though? Well, she's drowning in enough inner angst to fill paragraphs inside the brackets. ]
Somehow. We just cannot stop believing otherwise. Do not succumb to the darker thoughts and you will persevere.
no subject
[Her lips quirk up a little bit. She has to admit, the reassurance is actually nice even if Saber can't offer anything but faith.]
Don't worry. Now that I know it's possible, I'll never stop believing it will happen... or finding a way to make it so.
no subject
Mm good. It would not do you well to dwell on these negative thoughts. [ If only she can take her own advice. ]
no subject
... That, and I have more distractions here.
no subject
... Yes, that is right. There are a number of things here to hold your attention.
no subject
... Hey, what's with that expression?
no subject
I just do not feel comfortable with you using that phrase. What if you were to be hurt when I was not around to provide aid?
no subject
I'm never alone in this world, Saber. I have an entourage of at least six loyal and powerful allies in whichever Pokemon I choose to have with me. If I somehow got into trouble, I have full confidence in their ability to get me out of it.
no subject
[ If only Saber knew. ] I have met a number of them before and have struggled against their methods. They are not a fair organization and your Pokemon are incapable of doing anything when they are caught.
no subject
[She'd probably be a little less haughty about that if she weren't fully well aware that's a situation she won't be finding herself in.]
Or maybe you're talking about taking them while they're in their balls? I always have at least one of them out, and it's usually either Berserker or Orpheus. Attempts at thievery will result in a broken arm at best.
no subject
Only two Pokemon (three later on) she allows to roam free along her side, but nothing that could fend off an entire organization. ]
Is it difficult to travel with such large beasts?
no subject
[Just like he did back when she first arrived in Johto. Only with less careening out of control.]
no subject
[ What if she was thrown from his back? ] Could you not enjoy the company of a Rapidash instead?
no subject
[She could get thrown from one of them too, you know.]
no subject
[ Shh, Saber is only thinking of horses. ]
no subject
[And somewhere in Johto, six little ponies sneeze.]
no subject
For Saber it pretty much is. Lancer's Rapidash are the only creatures she can ride on without problems. All of her own give her more trouble than she cares to admit out loud. ]
no subject
[That's kind of muttered.]
Look, I've never fallen off of him and I've been riding him since I came to Johto, so I think that speaks for itself.
no subject
[ She remembers all too well the first time she encountered the pair. ] Ah, but do you not know how to ride a horse?
no subject
Saber, when in my life would I have learned how to ride a horse?
no subject
Forgive my saying so, but have you forgotten the type of area you lived in? It is a natural assumption.
