Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

Course! Tobi'll keep them in line, and if anything happens then Fuuin'll alert me while Hosenka makes a whoooole lot of noise. It'd be pretty impossible to miss, and they aren't going too far.

Some are better behaved than others, though I know I can trust my team leaders to keep them in line.

But I'd rather not just inflict forty-nine high-level Pokémon on Blackthorn and the surrounding areas, either.

[He couldn't even understand what she'd do with that many. How did she spend time with everyone?!]

Because they're all different types, with their own strengths and weaknesses? If all you've got are kunai and shuriken, you've only got a handful of strategies you can use with them. If you've got a katana and a staff and a kusurigama and senbon and flails, you've got that many more combinations of things to do. It's only being practical.

Yeah, but how do you spend time with them every day with so many? Especially when you do other stuff too?

Sounds impractical to me.

You don't spend time with each one every single day.

[What are you, a rookie?]

Maybe you spend every other day with them, or every third day. Maybe I let them out and the only real interaction they get is with their team and their team leaders while I watch. I'm not their only friend, you know.

...I do. It may not be a lot of time, but I say hello, and check on them, even if I don't do anything else with them that day.

[You're keeping them in their balls Tenten, what, are you packing them two per?]

You don't have to spend every second with them to see them every day you know.

[In their balls, or in the PC. She just gives him an unimpressed look and a shrug.]

Maybe, but I'm not about to coddle them, either.

[Don't let her fool you, Obito, she does take time to cuddle with them every now and then. But it's not her first or even her second priority, and her smile gets a little fixed.]

Like I said, if that works for you? Great, but that's just not how I do things.
