Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

[Suddenly the mental image of seeing Mrs. Hertz in the shower was more appealing then....well, this. Not even Creeper, the Medicham who somehow made it his life purpose to creep out everyone he knew, was staying his distance. It was too much for him, man.]

[Aaaaaand, there's a chance the old granny might be drunk too. It was rude to ignore her elders but she's just going to avoid eye contact and stay submerged in the water. She treasures her eye sight.]

[ Tsunade sees the movement in the water, mostly because her Tentacool turned her attention to it. ]

Hey! Hey! You there! The one under water! Are you here for Sasuke's party? [ time to make conversation! Slurred, loud, polite conversation! ]

[Plan failed. Looks like she can kiss her sight goodbye.]

[Her head reemerged out of the water and gave a small, fake smile.]

Um, yes mam. He's an acquaintance but Tenten invited me so.... [Gee, this whole situation is just plain awkward.] Are you like...his grandmother?

[ That earns A Look™ from Tsunade, with Tentacool matching it. ]

No. I'm not even that old! [ She looks up, seemingly proud and partially delerious. ] I'm the village leader where he's from, which adds years to your body. [ Especially when you age yourself so you can heal yourself and others quicker! ]

[That look managed to send fear into the girl, realizing she may had struck a soft spot. Her Mega!Tentacruel, who was somewhere close by with Yumi's Samurott, was giving a look towards the Hokage and her Tentacool. You touch her and you die.]

I'm sorry mam, I didn't know! [What to do, what to do.] Well, you don't look half-bad for someone who looks beyond their years.

[ The Tentacool looks back at his evolution and rolls his jellyfish eyes. I'm too comfortable here to go after that.

That's actually the first compliment about her appearance Tsunade has heard. She walks (read: crawls) over to Yumi's space in the hot spring with a warm smile. Tentacool's eyes are replaced with animesque hearts. ]

Really? Y'know, I actually look this old because I have a technique that allows me to regenerate myself and distribute this energy to heal others. I've took stab wounds for a kid and had to use it to regenerate, my village was leveled by a monstrous attack so I had to use it to save the village and I had to regenerate multiple times in a fight that was, essentially, to protect the world. [ Yes, Yumi. Compliments will get you very far in life! ]

[Suddenly, Yumi had regretted saying that (fake) compliment.]

[She hugged her knees under the water and staying silent as the old bat was talking about the story of her old age and obstacles she had to go through. Although she was feeling all awkward and uncomfortable by the old lady invading her personal space, she was quite intrigued by the tale. Who knew she was inspirational?]

The drawback is, I can only regenerate my cells a limited amount of time in my life. That's how every body works. So, the more I use it, the more I essentially age myself because it's retrieving cells that are normally used when I'm 60 or 70. I'm actually in my early 50s, so you can see I've used this technique for quite a while.

But it's an absolute pinnacle of medical ninjutsu. The amount of lives it's saved and its uses are not something I'd ever regret, even if I look older than dirt now.
