Where: Blackthorn City (mainly hotsprings but also anywhere)
When: July 23rd
Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

Even so, no matter how much energy a place may have, it still needs its time of rest as well. Without it, the town would collapse under its own weight, and the tourism would run it quickly into the ground. You could say that even towns must sleep eventually.

It was a lot quieter back home. Some places are quieter than others, but there's always that music in the background. If not that, then there's the sound of Pokemon nearby. Surprisingly a number of them are nocturnal.

Ha, did you figure that one out already? Some of your Pokemon might be trying to keep you up just as late.

[Why would you remind him of the music? He does his best to attempt to tune it out much of the time. The reminder earns a faint scowl of distaste. At least the music here is more...bearable than certain other places. Cherrygrove, where he stayed in the hospital, was grating.]

Most of...mine are still quite young. I imagine they might attempt to keep me awake if they had the energy, but by nightfall they're often far too exhausted. I suppose it is one more thing to look forward to.

Well, you could always adopt an older Pokemon. [ She teases. ]

If anything, I think raising them from a younger age is better. You can train them to listen to specific sounds or phrases instead of trying to adapt to how they were raised before.

As with training anything. Regardless, I'm not remotely interested in adopting more Pokemon whether they're young or old, so the difference isn't relevant to my...technique.

[ Everyone is going to need a proper team at the end, weren't they? To view other creatures as weapons wasn't exactly what most of them have been raised to do, but there are certain families in Konoha who did just that. ]

Don't tell me you're going to refuse to adapt.
