Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

But yes! I think we should. There are hot springs and dragons. What more could you want out of a place? With everyone else here, it's just about perfect. Well, except that I already got the badge for here, but once I get all of Kanto, you can bet this is probably going to be where I'll want to spend most of my time.

I'm definitely gonna stay here until I get that badge, at least! Better than going back to Violet anyway, I'm not going back there even if people try and pay me.

Remind me later and I'll show you what it looks like. She's got Gyarados, Kingdra, and Dragonite, between levels sixty-five and seventy. Don't be fooled by Dragonite, though, it's Flying even though Dratini and Dragonair don't have wings.

Sixty-five and Seventy, huh? Guess I'd better train some more first, then.. [In a week or so, he may at least hold a change of doing well against her. Probably be pushing it though, but he'll try anyway.]

Yeah, I'll ask later, thanks, Tenten! They're all dragons, right? What are they weak against, again?

Well, Gyarados is almost ridiculously weak against Electric 'cause even if he looks like a dragon, he's actually Water and Flying. I've used my Luxray against every Gyarados I've faced and never had a problem. Um... let's see, I used my Gyarados against her Kingdra, since they're only weak to other Dragons and at the time, he was the only higher-leveled guy with Dragon-type moves I had. And then--

[Not admitting her massive fuck-up of using a Ground type against a Flying type for Donphan versus Dragonite,]

And then it was my Skarmory against her Dragonite. If you've got Dragon or Ice, definitely use those. Ice is super-effective, but Bing wasn't high enough level when I challenged her. Um -- my Vanilluxe, I mean.

I dunno if I've got any of those, I've gotta check.. not with any of my high levelled guys, anyway.

If you don't have any, you could catch some around here! You'd have to work at it, but I know you can get Dragon types here. And there's a place called Dragon's Den not too far from here! I mean I already caught myself a Dragonair when I was in Seafoam but that place, I've got to check it out. And then there's the Ice Path, too, but I've heard the Pokémon there are pretty powerful, so unless you have types that are good against Ice, I wouldn't go alone.

I dunno yet. I guess I'll go look it up later and see what's there.

See if there's Dragonair.

It's definitely the most dragon-looking of all of them, but you have to make sure it doesn't evolve. Even though it gets really powerful when it evolves, it looks-- dumb. Like a massive fat bat instead of a dragon.

A Dragonair? Got it, I'll keep a lookout for one, then! [He's trying to picture a fat bat with wings now. Attempting to fly.]

C'mon, I can show you! [And she perks back up again, beckoning for him to follow so she can grab one of her Pokéballs to let her own Dragonair out.] This is the one that evolves into Dragonite, which you'll face when you go against Clair.

This one's really strong, yeah? And-! [WAIT.] I think I have one of those already.. well, the baby evolution, y'know? Noisy looks just like it, except a bit different.

Yeah! He's about level sixty-five or so now, he was around level fifty when I caught him.

[Once released, Zhu takes a moment to look over the older male before ducking down to rest his head comfortably atop his trainer's. Zhu's one of her favorites, and he knows it, the smug bastard.]

You mean Dratini? I gave Sasuke one of those, once. Bought it from Riku before I realized I wanted to catch one myself.

Yeah, Dratini, that's it! I got an egg off Obito the other month, I haven't levelled it much though it's still only level ten or something right now..

Not around here I don't think. I caught Zhu down in the Seafoam Islands, after that one week of weird travel.

[At the mention of Dratini, Zhu lets out a curious noise, slithering forward a bit to look the older trainer in the eye.]

Don't mind him, he's kind of nosy. You should definitely level them, though, they're really great.
