Summary: Sasuke gets a birthday party whether he wants one or not. Lucky for him, he has friends (in spite of his best efforts) who'll plan one.
Rating: G? PG for violence

[ooc; general mingle log for Blackthorn City/Sasuke's birthday. Most of it will probably take place at the hotsprings itself, though like the 'who' says, it's completely open to anyone just walking by and wondering what the big deal is, or someone who's already there and then has their pleasant soak interrupted by a bunch of dumb ninjas.]

[Seriously, who knows with this guy. :| Utter murder on the emotions every time she talks to him, she's kind of given up on figuring out if he likes her or not. Dumb kids...

Her head tilts with some curiosity at the mention of the nickname, though.]

[She was just about to launch into story time about how it was SUPER AWESOME and that she beat almost all the boys half to death. Until she notices Tenten staring. Her eyes drift down and she realizes her hand is still sticking in her hair. Oops... She lets the carrot drop on her lap and withdraws her hand to rub at the back of her head. DIVERSIONARY TACTICS TIME...]

[Nooo she wants to hear those stories! And also figure out just why she's sticking food into her hair but it would be pretty rude just to come out and ask when the invitation before didn't get an answer.]

Let's see... about seven months now. I got here in-- well, when I left Konoha, it was almost August, but it was January here. So I've been here... a while now, I guess.

That's weird... but then I guess something similar happened to me since it was definitely October, but it's now July here. Hm... I wonder why time doesn't line up between this place and home. That's so weird... Has anyone here figured out how that's possible?

Not that I know of. I've talked to a lot of people since I came here, and no one's known for sure. No one knows how we get here, why we're here, what we're really supposed to do here, how we get home...

[She exhales a bit of a frustrated sigh and shrugs.]

[Oh hey, there was a question there. So have some head shaking as her eyes flick down to her lap for a moment. At the same time, to make the poking stop, she makes a careless sweep of her hand over her plate to drop a few more veggies on her lap. ...But a cupcake goes with it too. GDIT... she was actually going to eat that. Kyuubi was too quick and snatches it up first. Pretending he's not there so she doesn't look like a massive hypocrite is hard work...]

You'd think, right? But none of the locals know how we get here, and even the people like us who've been around for a while haven't got any clue. It's a big mess, really, especially since there's people who still want to go home.

[How to jamjar. :| But Tenten follows the sweep of food with another raised eyebrow. Won't the icing from the cupcake be kind of messy...?]

Well, when you left last time, you left me your Gyarados. I've been training her well since you've been gone, don't worry!
