(no subject)

Who: Riza Hawkeye ([personal profile] hawksandbullets) and Tim Drake ([personal profile] necessaryrisks)
Where: Cherrygrove City
When: A week-ish ago? Backtagging FTW
Summary: Riza and Tim are newcomers and end up bumping into each other in Cherrygrove. Shenanigans?
Rating: Pg-13 to be on the safe side, though I doubt it'll get to anything that warrents it.
Log:

Riza was walking out of the Pokemon Center with her Pidgey on her shoulder. Both looked much better than they had when they first walked into the town. Riza had been bitten by a Rattata and Kittyhawk the Pidgey had just been worn out from the encounters with the wild Pokemon that had seemed to have nothing better to do than keep Riza from progressing.

Just like New Bark Town, Cherrygrove had no shortage of useless natives. However, on this occasion, someone caught her eye. It was the young man she had spoken to over the network not too long ago.

"Hello. It's nice to meet you in person."

Tim's taken to keeping it simple. No costume, no shades. Just himself, except with a different name, so they can't trace it back home. Not that he knows anyone who knows he's Robin, but given he has no gadgets with him except a lock pick, it wasn't like he had much of a choice. Still, it doesn't keep him from feeling surprised at the recognition, and he has to remind himself that it wasn't because she knew his other identity.

He offers a smile at that, turning to her once he's made sure to tell Marsh to behave. The Swablu can be very haughty, after all, and he didn't want him scaring away other people.

"Hey there. It's... Riza, right? Fancy meeting you in this city."

"Yeah. It's been a while." The swablu huffs, preening on top of Tim's head like some sort of prized pet, but Tim merely lets it have its fun. The problem was it was a huffy little thing, but completely sweet when they were alone. He's learned just to let it get huffy and mad because he never acts on it anyway.

"Tell me about it. They usually say the same lines all over again, so you don;t really get anywhere."
