[It's cold in here. Archer absolutely loathes the Ice Caves, and he's fairly sure they're lost. He's let Kimblee lead the way so far because Kimblee knows where they're going, but the further in they go, the more convinced he is that they're lost.

They're taking a break from traveling for the time being and Archer is pacing about, trying to keep warm. He's tired already, but going to sleep now is the last thing he wants to do.]

How much further is it to Blackthorn?

[He finally turns his attention to Kimblee, frowning. He's sure Kimblee doesn't know, but he can't stand the silence. Archer's a bit on edge today - more than usual - because of the date. It's the fifteenth of September; his birthday. That's not the only reason why he's tense though; in a few days it will be the nineteenth; the anniversary of the day they invaded Liore.

Needless to say, he's a bit worked up about that.]

Mahogany is familiar in several ways; it's probably the most like North City, however.

I did spend quite a bit of time in Central before the Promised Day, though, when I was able to return from Drachma; it's not so bad when one is given something to do, and I had a fair amount of jobs to take on while I was there.

I suppose keeping yourself busy would make any place bearable.

Well, I'll grant that perhaps I'm a bit biased; what was underneath it in my world was far more interesting than anything aboveground - that's where Father was.

You've mentioned that before. I suppose a transmutation circle beneath an entire country would be far more interesting than whatever is above it.

The circle itself was largely disinteresting, in fairness; just a series of tunnels carved out by Sloth. I made my way through part of one of them once; as long as Pride had no issue with you being there, it was perfectly safe.

...Of course, Pride took issue with most humans being in there; I'm one of the few that was able to come back up to tell about it without engaging in some sort of fight.
