Summary: A friendly spar between a ninja and a demigod! Or at the very least, the meeting before and after.
Rating: PG-13 (IDK worst I can think of happening here is language)

[She'd barely been able to sit still knowing that the day was finally here. She and Kushina had been talking about this match for what felt like ages, and it was Cassie's first chance to sort of cut loose with someone new.
It's been a great challenge being able to spar on even ground with Tim, of course! Not having her powers to rely on meant that she had to find other ways to contend, but Kushina was like a kindred spirit or something. Just talking to her made Cassie feel like they could really understand each other- if that made sense. She was a brawler, albeit a brawler with finesse, but still a brawler. Superboy was the only other one on the team that she related to on the battlefield or the training ring. Kushina is a fresh change of pace. Cassie suspects that the redhead will shake things up in a welcoming way.
Tim (or "Alvin") is heading off to get some supplies and agreed to meet her later. Cassie, with Donna (still a Riolu) in tow heads for the middle of town and pulls out her gear to send out a text.
Just made it into town last night. I'm ready to meet up whenever you are!]

Finally, the time had come. She could gauge her performance against someone new. See if she was as rusty as she thought or if her occasional spars were helping. While waiting for a reply, she sends messages to Minato, Naruto, and Sakura, telling them she'll be meeting up with Cassie and send the location later. As soon as she gets those sent out, it's time for a quick change for something with pants that's easy to move around in. Battle girl outfit it is.]

Even as she says it she starts heading that way. It's the most easily noticeable landmark around besides the Pokecenter, and it might just work for an impromptu arena.]

Before throwing on her bag, she grabs out a Ragecandybar to munch on for a post-work snack as she ran out the door for the beach. As she made her way there, she kept an eye out for Cassie.]

Cassie is pumped, now, and raring to go. For her part she's actually wearing her Wonder Girl outfit, since it's already made for fighting. When she spots the redhead she brings a hand up to wave.]
