witty lyrics go here.
Who: The Dangans who happen to be in the area
Where: Goldenrod City
When: October 6th
Summary: Naegi finds out they have a house. Also it's Kirigiri's birthday. General house/birthday shenanigans happen.
Rating: Mondo's mouth is a thing so PG-13?
Log:
[ Needless to say, Naegi didn't expect any of this; who would expect finding a key and a note that indicated that an entire house had been left to Asahina - who wasn't with them anymore. Still, a house is a house and winter is drawing closer with each passing day and it would be nice to stay somewhere that isn't an inn or hotel room. Naegi's not going to look this gift Ponyta in the mouth.
Kirigiri and Naegi are the first to go there, to make sure it isn't some sort of trick or scam before informing the others. It looks nice despite the busted window on the first floor and the...door seems to have been left wide open.
Better start investigating, then. ]
[ Some time later, Naegi's encountered at least twenty-four Eeveelutions, a ton of food and pillows scattered all over the floor and he's concluded that no, it's not a trap. It just hasn't been taken care of and has been ruled by the Eevee Kingdom for some time. So he sends out the following text to the others: ]
Guys, I have good news! Come to the following address when you can, all right? It's the house next to the breeding center so it should be easy to find.
[ Pretend the address is included. :| Shortly afterwards, a second text message is sent out: ]
By the way, it's Kirigiri-san's birthday today.
[ ...Naegi has no idea why he knows this. He's pretty sure she hasn't mentioned it. At any rate, by the time the others get there there will pizza, cake and party hats but not much else because there's only so much you can do when you just remembered her birthday. Here's hoping the Eevees won't eat everything the second you turn around.
Also, floor plans for future reference. ]

anyway]
He did, yes....although if I'd known such a welcome was awaiting me, I wouldn't have bothered.
[ur ded naegi-kun]

Whatever would we have done without you.
If all you're going to do is take up space and complain, perhaps you would be better off paying for your own solitary lodgings.
[Celes it's a free house. Even Togami isn't spoiled enough to look this gift horse in the mouth.]

I see you are as charming as ever, Togami-kun.
[...technically she does have her own solitary lodgings, but they're ~not supposed to talk about that~]
Out of all of us, it is you that I am most surprised to see here.

[He's not even dignifying the first part with a response.]
Are you? I'm here for the same reason you are.

[Smiling slightly, Celes straightens both her skirt and herself, picking the odd hair off her sleeve.]
I seem to remember you always making an effort to distance yourself from us, back in the school...and yet here in Johto, where you have complete freedom to go where you want, you choose to stay with us...?
[Celes' smile widens, and she places a hand over her lips to restrain a stray giggle.]
I merely find it curious.

Too bad Celes died before she could see all of his character development.]
You flatter yourself to believe that you're included in the list of people I would spend any length of time with.
I don't waste my time on the sort of desperate peasant who would kill for money.

[That was a good attempt, Togami-kun, but you'll have to do a bit better than that to crack her.]
Who knows? Now that you'll be spending so much time around me, we could discover a plethora of shared interests!
Does that not excite you?
[ohohohohoho~]

I'm not here to make friends. As soon as possible, I fully intend to set out on my own. I'm merely taking advantage of an opportunity that was presented to me by one far too kind and gentle for his own good.
no subject
[She's neither of those things, Togami-kun - merely amused~]
Well, I wish you luck in your endeavour. It must sting for one such as you to have to depend on charity from acquaintances, no?
no subject
[Ooh you said the c-word.]
A good businessman knows when not to make enemies, and when to seize an opportunity. Why should I waste my money on a hotel that's certainly not a five-star resort, when I have a guaranteed room to myself for free.

[Smiling again in that 'I don't believe you' manner, Celes flicks her gaze around what she can see of the house. Her smile doesn't fade as she returns her eyes to his.]
I shall enjoy playing housemates with you.
