[Now there's an impressive attack. Perhaps among the most impressive he's seen since this battle started...and he's seen all of them. The Byakugan misses nothing, even if he doesn't necessarily always pay attention to the things that don't concern him. The drop in whatever form of chakra they were all tapping in to (it was more limited than usual chakra, even without impressive displays and only judicial usage of Kaiten, he's beginning to feel winded and drained himself) was obvious in the man, even if he hadn't been paying attention. Which, with that visual display, of course he was.

It's not log after the man lands that Neji arrives near him, knocking a deadly spike out of the air with a close range air palm. He could have done it at a distance, but close range battle conserved chakra, and he had no wish to die again if it wasn't necessary.]

Try to save what remains of your chakra. Single attacks won't do anything to that, no matter how much chakra you sacrifice to accomplish it. [While it wasn't really the Juubi, it seemed powerful enough to befit being a shadow of it. Like with the Juubi, their only hope of victory would be strategy and teamwork.] If we want to defeat it, we'll need to concentrate our efforts and share chakra. Until the smaller creatures are removed, we won't be able to do that effectively.
