[Now, let's not celebrate too quickly. Ash is doing his best to get to that creature, but its friends have some pretty nasty claws. Most of his progress is unmade every time he has to dodge one.

...Then again, he's dodging them surprisingly well. Almost as if he gets great bursts of speed for a few seconds each time.]

[Blake has his hands full keeping the little ones off Ash's back as the glowing robot thing blazes toward the looming dark]

[Good, that's definitely helpful, just a little more and he'll be there, he just need to raise his sabers and-

-and brace himself as much as he can, because something- a hand? Or maybe some sort of forcefield? He has no idea, he didn't see anything- just send him flying back towards one of the walls.]

[That's not supposed to happen. Glowing robots are not supposed to go flying past him. Blake jumps back before he's smashed into paste.]

Get up, dammit!

[Nothing for it but to cover him until he does.]

[He does so somewhat shakily, but that's to be expected. He looks more than a little dizzy.]

I don't know what that was, but it's definitely cheating. Maybe I should've aimed for the eyes instead.
