[closed] I hope that someone´s gonna call...

Who: Masato, Haruka, Ren, Mitsuki.
Where: Saffron City Inn
When: Oct 31st
Summary: Masato wakes up from nightmare coma; his friends are worried.
Rating: G? PG?
Log:

Masato awoke with a start. It wasn't often that he woke so suddenly, normally just when he knew he was oversleeping or if a commotion happened around his room. Rarely one for nightmares as well, a quick awakening was very strange for him. But alas, as his eyes shot open, heart racing and mind telling him it was definitely time to get up. And the first thing he noticed was that his limbs were stiff, like he had gotten far too nice of a rest.

The second... was that he wasn't alone. Masato's brows furrowed in confusion as he glanced around, rapidly blinking the sleepiness from his eyes as he focused on the other occupants in the room. They hadn't noticed him yet... but... Why were they there? Perhaps it was late, that he hadn't gotten up in time; but in that case, someone should have woken him. Or perhaps it was something else.

"What... time is it?" he asked aloud, finally.

"You'd think they should start waking up by now." Seriously. Mitsuki sounded worried, probably less worried than she actually was, but the full amount of worry was easy to read from her face. How long were everyone going to sleep? It had been days since they fell asleep. Maybe they were not going to wake up until October was officially over, but they had still kept on checking the situation often. She tried to think back to previous Octobers that she had spent here. When had things turned back to normal on previous years? She couldn't remember as she had paid more attention to the things that happened than the ending dates.

"Or maybe tomorr--" ow was cut as soon as she heard the question that came from Masato's direction with his voice, obviously. What? Ren or Haruka didn't say that... Mitsuki turned her head so fast that you'd almost think she just broke her neck or something. Her eyes widened. Ohh. He was awake. A-wa-ke!

Wait, he asked something, right? "Umh... It's probably a little past seven in the morning." This was why people kept a clock with them all time, to check what time was it whenever someone asked. Well, Mitsuki never had a clock with her (except on her phone / gear / devices like that), so she didn't know the exact time, but at least she had an idea. Unless they had been here for hours... If he wasn't still laying on the bed, she'd tell him to sit down. "On October 31st."

Ren had been about to say something to Mitsuki about the whole situation, but then he was interrupted... not that he would have had anything good to say (except "He'll most likely wake up soon"). Though looks like he would have been right.

"About time you woke up." Ren didn't sound annoyed or anything. The emotion was more like... relief. The wait was finally over.

Something like this seemed like it was only meant to happen in books and fairy tales, so the second Natsuki had been informed that Masato had fallen into a deep sleep that he couldn't seem to wake up from, he was at a complete loss on what he and the others could do except wait, and what a long wait it was. It was hard for him to sit there and watch his friend lay on that bed for so long, quiet and very still, even more than he naturally was, so most of his time had been spent keeping the others company or spending time with his Audino, but even Momo couldn't cheer him up as much as he used to.

But of course, they had to receive a miracle at some point! And just like that, after muffling a yawn from waking up earlier than he usually did, Natsuki heard voices, one of which he was sure was Masato's, and he hurriedly ran over to his bedside.

"Hijirikawa! Are you awake?! You're awake! Thank goodness! Are you okay? Everyone was so worried about you!"

It was one thing to know that sometimes your friends will randomly go to sleep for a week and not wake up the entire time (here's to you, Jinguji) but it was another to find out that it was happening to a lot of people at the same time. That's when she really started to worry. Naturally, she was always worried. When Jinguji had fallen into his memory coma, as she's heard it called, she was concerned. But at least, she vaguely knew it was a fairly normal occurrence.

When Hijirikawa had failed to wake up, she wasn't as worried until she found out this wasn't normal. So, because she'd become very attached to the pianist the last few weeks, Haruka wasn't sure what to do other than to pull up a chair next to the bed. When she had fallen asleep, she wasn't sure. Someone should wake her up, though.
