It's All Fun And Games
Who: The First-Game Dangans of
route_29
Where: Around the Dining Room Table, the Dangan House, Goldenrod City
When: The Evening of Wednesday, December 11
Summary: It's not exactly a Class Trial (and everyone is probably thankful for that), but Nanami's arrival has prompted a slew of questions and surely there's no better way to resolve them than Dangan-style.
Rating: PG-13 because some people have filthy mouths. Also, FLAGRANT SPOILERS FOR SUPER DANGAN RONPA 2
Log:
[The Dangans have always had a habit of handling their business internally.
Or rather, Kirigiri has, at least — some might even argue that she's had a habit of handling her business too internally, to the point where she refuses to let anyone else in on it even when it might actually be entirely prudent and relevant to clue them in. And to some extent, that's what's happened here, too, as pertaining to the matter of one Nanami Chiaki, the Super High School Level Gamer. She's a problem no one had anticipated, a complication no one has accounted for — a schoolmate none of them remember, but through no fault of any memory shenanigans this time. And that's something worth talking about, so gathering up the assembled Dangans and orchestrating a round table (that thankfully ends up looking a lot more like their former breakfast meetings and a lot less like a Class Trial) to present their information all at once.
And since it's Kirigiri who prompted the meeting, that means it's her privilege (or burden) to start things off.]
On the eighth of this month, someone posted to the Gear Network claiming to be a student of Hope's Peak with the title "Super High School Level Gamer". How many of us have talked to her by now, and what did she tell you when she did?
[If that won't get the ball rolling, then nothing will.]

OOC Notes: Given the nature of the post, it seemed more sensible to put this up in the logs comm so that everybody could tag their characters into it and threadjack freely and so on — but considering everyone's just kind of sitting around a table talking, please don't feel bogged down by any sense of "necessity" to throw in action brackets into every tag just because this is a "log" post; by all means, sprinkle them in where you see fit, but this is designed to be a discussion-heavy log, not an action-heavy one. o/

Aren't we getting off-track again?
no subject
[Celes-kun, he is talking to you.]
However, we still have no information about this other class of students - from what I've heard about the world outside the school, another class after ours isn't likely, but there were no more classes left inside Hope's Peak, either. So where did they come from?

Nanami-san isn't older than us, but that doesn't tell us anything about the rest of the students in her class.

...
But there's something else complicating matters. Something we were told during the final trial.
[And to her credit, she's actually not just going to leave it there this time, THANKS KIRIGIRI.]
...How many people here are aware of the reason the school was sealed?
no subject
I take it it's something less obvious than 'to keep us in'.
no subject
After all, the person who confined us in that school wasn't Junko Enoshima.

... It's just really weird information.]
Kinda sidetracking for a sec Kirigiri-chi, but Nanami-chi brought up one of her classmates when she was talking to me.
[He hesitates because nnngh, he knows it's not gonna go over well at all.]
She said she's classmates with Byakuya Togami. But he's not our Byakuya Togami at the same time? Like...I described Togami-chi to her and she said he's different.

[You know, this is probably bullshit because it's Hagakure saying it, but...]
Surely such a despair-inducing thing isn't true...
four for you glen coco you go glen coco [1/2]
KYAAAAAHHHH!!
and none for celes bye [2/2]
Alright, fine, I'm going!
[hup hup hup hup hup hup
And then the door opens to reveal a slightly disheveled and highly unamused Togami with twenty-some-odd organized and determined eevees hup-hupping at his heels.
He has a cup of Sawsbucks coffee in his hand that's somehow not spilled when the Eevees descended upon him.]

We can't afford to have many further disruptions - and what did I just finish saying to you about derailing the conversation, Celes-kun?!
[...oh. Well. Look who finally showed up.]
As for you, Togami-kun -
no subject
Oh my god, they did.
That's going to get one of those weird laughs out of him, thank you very much, and he will just be kneeling down to surround himself with fluff because the Eevees just pretty much boucing around going OMGOMG GRANDPA cannot be ignored.]
Well done, all of you!
no subject
I told all of you that would be useful one day! Now, does someone want to reiterate the last points made, without Celes-kun's interjections and preferably with less arguing, and clarify whether anyone besides Hagakure-kun has heard this in the process?
no subject
[...]
But this is the first I've heard of Togami-kun being her classmate.

[He's going to just move past the Eevees (rolling his eyes at Ishimaru in the process) and take the empty seat at the table.]
Togami-kun, why are you such a skeeze?
Is there something you aren't telling us, Togami-kun?
no subject
no subject
...
How unexpected.
no subject
[As though Togami isn't standing right there.]

I did have older siblings, but they were all returned to their mothers' family names when I was named my father's heir.
[He knows dick-all about what happened to them after that. Except that they're probably all dead now. But they were as good as dead to him anyway, so whatever.]

I described Togami-chi to her and she said the one she knows looks similar but is a lot heavier? And she said he's very kind, so that tells you a lot too.
It's still weird to imagine, dudes.
