Backlog!
Who: Enma Kozato, Ventus, and Adelheid Suzuki (possibly Hope)
Where: Violet City
When: Post-Drifloon Event
Summary: Enma introduces Ven to the Family.
Rating: PG?
Log:
Enma is a little unsure about having these two worlds collide, but here he is, standing a little awkwardly with his second-in-command and his friend, one hand wrapped around a backpack with the dozing Drifloon he'd caught earlier that day tied to it. Turning to the older girl first, he starts the introductions.
"...This is Ven- Ventus. He's... one of the others I'm traveling with."
"This is Adelheid... she's part of my Family, the one I told you about."

He didn't exactly expect to meet a girl who by all appearances can claim she towers over both Enma and himself.
All the same, Ven smiles and offers a hand. "Nice to meet you, Miss Adelheid!" She had to be older than he was if she was that tall, right? Aqua was, after all.

As long as there's no fighting, Enma figures things are safe. He sets the backpack down and looks at Ven for confirmation. "Has it?"

"People seem to show up here at the same time a lot, and that's what happened with Enma, Hope, and me." Although Ven isn't entirely sure Adelheid really wants that much information, he's pretty sure it doesn't hurt anything. Naturally somebody from back home would want to make sure that somebody wasn't traveling with weirdoes or anything.

Not that it was any matter to her. She could care less about him at this point and wasn't exactly fond of him in the first place. Just a hanger-on and not worth her time at this point anymore.
"It appears that many different people come here, regardless of what point in time or place they are from," she sighs a bit and crosses her arms, pressing her lips into a sort of frown.

And then Enma sets his backpack down and brings out a little plastic bag. Lunch, it soon seems, as Enma proceeds to hand out packets of bread from the Pokémart. They have little chocolate faces of pokémon printed on the surface, too.

Now if only they could track down Lightning and Snow one of these days.

And that's the end of that.
"My original aim was to find you, Enma. I didn't need anyone to tag along with me," she sighs and glances to Ven, "Thank you for keeping an eye on him."

"If it's alright, Adelheid'll travel with us. The Inn has an extra room, so she'll be staying there, too."

With that having been addressed, he looks to Enma. "Course it's alright, I don't see why anybody'd have a problem with it." Ven's pretty sure he's not in any position to tell anybody they can't come along. And besides, it seems like this Adelheid lady's been worried about Enma.

Ven doesn't seem like a threat and, actually, Enma appears to like him quite a bit. Perhaps, he may be worth giving a chance.

"I think it's about lunch time..."
His fingers fumble over the balls and they scatter onto the nearby grass- two flashes of light later reveal a Mareep and a Sentret, both of whom pause to stare at the towering lady a little away. Mareep wanders a bit nearer to see if there's anything edible over there, whilst Sentret sticks to Enma. His Drifloon seems content to doze where it is.
[ooc:Poképicnic is a go.]

...This reminds him that he's still got to tell Enma about that, but it can wait.
Drifloon of course is being just as lazy as Enma's, and Ven has to shrug his backpack off in order to poke at it. "C'mon, you've been at that all morning..."

So Adelheid follows suit and fetches her own pokéballs. Much like Ven's own Gastly, her Misdreavus Stella seems to be a bit burned out when she leaves her ball, fluttering to the ground near her master's feet and snoozing softly. Stella is followed by Mori the Kakuna, who looks quite close to hatching into the Beedrill she had been working to get. Lastly, of course is her newly-caught Drifloon, Nuvole, who decides to float about near by.
"Stay close," she warns, taking a seat near Enma and looking over the other creatures now wandering about.

"Is she... sleeping?"
And now they have a set of three Drifloon. Almost made it seem like a party. But Enma hands Adelheid some bread, too (hopefully Adelheid wouldn't mind it, since Enma isn't sure what she would've liked), while he gets some berries out, turning to his and Ven's Drifloons.
"I think Nurse Joy said these help... but only if they're not supposed to be sleeping." He'll try to hold up a chesto berry to that X-shape that might be his Drifloon's mouth.

It really wouldn't surprise him.
Of course when he looks back down, Skiploom is eyeing that bread in his hand. "That's not very subtle at all." All the smae he snorts and tears off a piece of bread to offer it to the eager little plant.
