Summary: Kuzuryuu and Tsumiki finally make it to Goldenrod. Kuzuryuu has Things To Discuss with Hinata and also I guess shenanigans happen.

a: Hinata, Kuzuryuu, Tsumiki(?) [closed]
[The first thing Kuzuryuu does when he and Tsumiki reach Goldenrod on Thursday morning is call up Hinata. Ring ring, motherfucker, you better be awake. Because we got shit to talk about, son. You have ten minutes to get to the Pokécenter and meet them or else...]

[...or else, he’s got nothing. Just be there, dumbass, okay???]

b. Tsumiki [open]
[She wasn't allowed in on the conversation Kuzuryuu and Hinata were going to have, left at the Pokemon Center to her own devices. Her own devices mostly consisted of chatting up the Nurse Joy there, but she can also be found just hanging around the lobby as well. She's investigating this and that and the other and might be considering seeing if she can get a job here. At least if Kuzuryuu doesn't mind staying a while.

Eventually she heads out to explore the city, ending up at and getting lost in the Department Store. Easy to do, right? All those bustling people on all those different floors. Not to mention all of the displays and stands that are easy to knock over by someone who's just a little too clumsy for her own good.

And let's be honest. Nobody should really be surprised that she eventually manages to trip, winding up on the floor in a somewhat compromising position with a very handsome looking cardboard cutout. If that's easy to miss, her crying thereafter probably won't be...]

c. Kuzuryuu [open]
[Eventually, Kuzuryuu wraps up his conversation with Hinata and makes his way back into town. His Pawniard is ever present at his side as he wanders the city, taking it all in and seeing what it has to offer. Additionally, there’s still this fucking Spinarak sitting on his head like it owns the damn thing. But we’re not talking about the Spinarak.]

[In addition to aimlessly wandering the streets and catching a few Pokémon, Kuzuryuu can also be found skulking in the underground because what the fresh hell is this place about. Nothing? Alright, whatever. After that, he eventually finds himself at the Game Corner, mistakenly thinking that it’s a Pachinko parlor. It’s not and this fact is slightly disappointing. But that’s not going to stop him from playing a few rounds. Now taking bets on how long it takes him to get pissed off and try and flip the machine.]

[Man, it's a good thing that Hinata decided to set his PokeGear on vibrate as well as set the volume to max, otherwise he definitely would not have woken up when Kuzuryuu called. Of course, even then he was still barely conscious when he first answered the call, but hearing Kuzuryuu's voice on the other end definitely woke him up more.

He gets himself ready as quickly as he can, but then he decides to hit up the hotel Sawsbucks before heading to the Pokemon Center because he could really use some coffee right now. Hinata isn't actually sure if Kuzuryuu likes coffee or not, but he figures he might as well order one for him too while he's here (and of course, he tells the barista not to put any milk in it). If he doesn't want it then Hinata will be more than happy to drink it himself, so whatever.

Unfortunately, the detour costs him about fifteen minutes. Whoops. Hopefully the coffee will make Kuzuryuu forgive him for being late... By the time Hinata gets there, his own cup is already about halfway empty, and he starts looking around the lobby for Kuzuryuu, hoping that he didn't go out looking for him or something.]

hinata > kuzuryuu > tsumiki at least for probably one or two rotations.

[Fortunately, no, Kuzuryuu did not go wandering off anywhere just because a certain pointy haired SOMEBODY was a little late. He's still hanging out in the lobby, sitting on a bench next to his Pawniard and looking bored out of his mind.]

[At least until he spots Hinata. At which point he stands up and crosses the room, Pawniard hopping off the bench to toddle after him. He doesn't say anything until he's within earshot.]

I thought I said ten minutes. You're late.

[He doesn't mind but he's totally still going to give Hinata shit for it. Whoops.]

[Tsumiki, who'd been sitting beside the boy with both of her Pokemon in her lap, looks up when Kuzuryuu stands. She's pretty quick to put her companions down and stand to follow.]

Ah, good morning Hinata-san!

[Oh shit, Hinata didn't think that Tsumiki would still be with him. Now he feels bad that he didn't get a coffee for her, too...]

Morning, guys. And sorry that I'm late...

[He doesn't really think he needs to explain why he's late since he's holding the reason right in his hands.]

[He can't get rid of her, Hinata. Maybe if Saionji hadn't gone with Nanami, things would be different but...]

[Yeah, okay obviously he couldn't just leave Nanami with the both of them.]

Yeah, yeah. You're lucky I'm so patient.

[AND ALSO THAT HE LIKES COFFEE. Your lateness has been forgiven, bro.]

[Though uh...he hadn't really expected Tsumiki to get up and follow him like some sort of pathetic duckling. She doesn't think she's coming with them for this conversation, does she? Awkward.]

[It'd be pretty rude if she didn't greet Hinata, wouldn't it? Though now she's feeling a little awkward. There's a cup for Kuzuryuu and not for her, should she have not come over? She knew they had wanted to talk but...]

...u-um...I-I can...go sit back down if you want...I-I'm sorry for intruding!

[After handing Kuzuryuu his coffee, Hinata gives Tsumiki an apologetic look. He really does feel bad about leaving her out, but if she were to hear the contents of their conversation, well... that would be Very Bad, to say the least.]

It's fine, I'll talk to you later, okay?

[Very Bad, indeed. Kuzuryuu says nothing at first, just taking his coffee from Hinata and opting to let him handle it like the protag that he is. Until it occurs to him that this is partially his fault since he didn't tell Tsumiki to leave before Hinata showed up.]

[In retrospect, that was kinda dumb.]

Oy, Tsumiki. That breeding center thing is in this city, right? Meet me there later in the afternoon. Like around three or something.

[He'll go with you to pick out a baby Pokémon or something like that. Because lord knows you won't catch any of the damn things and he still maintains that you cannot just go through all this with a rat and a pink fluffy thing.]

[Well, if she was feeling bad before, she obviously isn't now. What the two of them says cheers her up and brings a little smile to her face and she nods, fidgeting a little and looking down at the ground.]

[With a little, sheepish wave she ushers her Pokemon off again, getting out of their hair as soon as possible for them. Let's go eat, how does that sound little ones?]
