I've been tryin' to get down to the heart of the matter
Who: Ryner Lute, Sion Astal, and a certain Clefairy
Where: Ecruteak City
When: March 6, 2014, after this announcement
Summary: Imagine Ryner's surprise to learn that not only did Rose enter a writing contest in his name, but she won third place. ...Well, more exasperation, really, but. Sion may or may not be helping matters.
Rating: Shouldn't go above PG...
[Sometimes, Ryner wonders whether her brief time knowing Ferris had been a good or a bad influence on Rose.
Seriously, how is he supposed to react to this? He should probably praise Rose for her writing, since she'd done well enough to do as well as she did. It must have been a challenge for the Clefairy, considering she was mostly self-taught.
On the other hand, even putting the fact that she'd entered under his name aside...]
Haaaaa, can't we just get past this already?
[He curls up on the bed, his arm over his head. It's pretty obvious who everyone in her story is supposed to represent, and the "Yamask Witch" is especially blatant. And no matter how much he tries to get it through to Rose that everybody just needs to move on, she still can't seem to let go.
And he's at his wits' end about what to do about Rose's rivalry with Marian.]

Well, I suppose that means the prize money belongs to Rose.

[That is honestly the least of his concerns right now.]

...I think one of these days I need to sit down and actually tell her what "pervert" means, though...

*Sion uses more eloquent terms, after all~*

[and this isn't even the real issue...]

[...and the fact that this is sooooo off the real point is kind of lost at the moment, but at the same time, Ryner secretly doesn't mind that...]

She taught herself how to read and write, yet you're surprised she'd learn a few words she probably heard quite often?
