Catch-all party post for Tenten! She's got so much money these days that she just rented the closest thing to an onsen-and-ryokan she could find. I'll be throwing up different areas and turning comments off, so feel free to thread amongst yourselves. It's a party post, you guys know how to do the thing. Also feel free to assume that Tenten would have made arrangements around March 3rd, and worked to try to get flyers to Fly people in if necessary.

ALSO IT'S GOING TO END UP THUNDERSTORMING (thanks, weather); everyone is invited to sleep over. There will be a thread for inside shenanigans, too.

You know, that does make me wonder... What about all the prehistoric Pokémon? You'd think they'd stick around when so many similar Pokémon exist in the wild.

[What makes an Aerodactyl any worse than an Onix or a Charizard? Sure, he read something about Omastar's shell being problematic, but that shouldn't apply to all those fossils.]

Maybe there was a mass extinction event that wiped them out, but not the forbears of modern Pokemon? That's how it tends to happen.

[She's not sure what sort of event like that could happen, or would be allowed to happen under the Legendaries' watch, but it's a possibility.]

Goldenrod is so overrated. Same with Violet. I'd be all too happy if I don't have to pass through either for a good year.

[ Which is a terrible topic to discuss. ] I really hope it ends soon, but with being stuck here... who knows when it'll be over? Maybe someone from home will show up and can tell us it's concluded.

[ She still feels a bit guilty about certain things, but bottling them up with a genuine smile is what she's good at. Very few people can pick through her fake demeanor. ]

Her Espeon was keeping her company and making sure she wouldn't get into any trouble. As soon as the evolution of Eevee can tell Ren (and his company) coming, she runs around Utau's legs before returning to her ball.

The girl jumps up and rushes to him.]

[Oh no Utau is really cute. Tenten covers her mouth with her hand to try to stifle a giggle. Lowering it once the other notices, she just grins brightly and dips her head into a slight bow.]

It's nice to meet you! I'm Tenten, one of Ren's friends.

[Well done, she's so proud of him, laughing and nodding in response. There's all kinds of seafood available, along with various types of noodles, fried rices, and pot stickers. Basically a combination of Chinese and Japanese food, because that's how Tenten does her thing.

But for now, they're able to talk reasonably quietly thanks to the music from the karaoke machine, so she just shifts a little closer to glance up at him and ask,]

I hope so. I could do with some good news from the future.

[She rests her hands on her knees and glances back toward the ceiling again, shaking her head. There's a lot she wants to say, about how she doesn't want to go back, how she doesn't want to see the future everyone's been talking about, how she's afraid that one day, she's just going to collapse and wake up a week later having experienced all that.

Instead she just shrugs and glances toward the other girl.]

By the way, have you given any thought to fighting Team Rocket? While we're talking about fighting, that is.

[Ren didn't mind this kind of attention at all. He'll gladly return the hug and plant a small kiss on her hair while at it. A small, because they're in company.

Though he won't say anything. Let the girls say hi to each other first. Yep.]

[Not that Utau would mind Tenten's giggle at all, it's a much better reaction than weird stares or something else. Ren gets a smile for that kiss, she'll restrain from wanting more right now.

That other girl is cute, she can admit that. But sometimes it takes a while from her to grin or smile at strangers, so Tenten's getting a neutral face right now.]
