Summary: Tenten's birthday party!
Rating: G unless someone starts throwing punches and people start bleeding (likely).

Catch-all party post for Tenten! She's got so much money these days that she just rented the closest thing to an onsen-and-ryokan she could find. I'll be throwing up different areas and turning comments off, so feel free to thread amongst yourselves. It's a party post, you guys know how to do the thing. Also feel free to assume that Tenten would have made arrangements around March 3rd, and worked to try to get flyers to Fly people in if necessary.

ALSO IT'S GOING TO END UP THUNDERSTORMING (thanks, weather); everyone is invited to sleep over. There will be a thread for inside shenanigans, too.

[Well, battle isn't necessary on his mind... but guess who's here. Blackthorn was a good place to come hiding for now for several reasons. This was one of them.

He's actually dressed for hot springs because he's actually visiting there today. With Utau, who he can introduce, if Tenten would like.]

Looking pretty tonight.

[She's just stepped outside for a quick breath of fresh air when she hears Ren's voice. Her hair is still down in its pigtails from when she was in the springs, but it seems like he'd recognized her easily enough.]

Ren! You made it!

[And she's beaming, because this just easily became the best birthday ever.]

[He smiles.]

We just happened to be here when you said the party would be held in this city. Though even if it wouldn't have been, I would have tried to come anyway.

[Though this way, it was 100% sure he could come. At least for some time.]

Happy Birthday, Tenten.

Yeah? Well, either way, I'm glad you're here.

[She wavers a moment on her feet, then darts in to wrap him in a tight hug.]

I'm glad you're safe.

[Awww, the hug is very welcomed and he does return it as tightly. He really has missed her. It's been such a long time since the last time they met.]

Hehe, well to be honest it's been pretty calm after that. [Perhaps a little too calm? Maybe.] Sorry for causing you worry.

Good. I'd rather it be calm.

[She lingers there for a moment before drawing back and clasping her hands behind her back.]

I know you're smart enough to keep your head down, though. You'll be alright.

Thanks for the confidence. I'll try not to betray it.

[You know. By getting into trouble and stuff.]

And well, I have Utau with me. Together we're pretty strong, should something happen.

You'd better not.

[He gets a friendly punch to the arm for that, though she immediately brightens further at the mention of Utau.]

Is she here? Can I meet her, finally?

[Haha. Ouch. Friendly or not, Tenten, you're pretty strong.]

I can take you to her right now, if you'd like?

[Oops. She only looks more excited as she nods, clasping both hands behind her back and peering around Ren as if he might be hiding Utau behind him somehow.]

Yeah! I can leave the party for a bit, let's go!

[Utau may be shorter than Ren, but that doesn't mean she'd be able to hide that well behind him, you know.]

[He'll lead the way~]

[Waiting was boring. Maybe she should have went there with Ren, just to hide behind his back until it'd okay to show herself.

Her Espeon was keeping her company and making sure she wouldn't get into any trouble. As soon as the evolution of Eevee can tell Ren (and his company) coming, she runs around Utau's legs before returning to her ball.

The girl jumps up and rushes to him.]

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-nal~lyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~!!

[Good thing Ren is used to her rush & hug style. because she's doing that again. Hugging him as if she hasn't seen him for days or weeks or months or years or...

No, really, Utau, your fiancé was only away for a little while...]

[...and it takes just a little moment from Utau to notice the other girl,. When she does, she just... stares curiously. Oh, he brought company.

Right, she knew he would bring the other girl here. She just kind of forgot it for a moment between waiting and rushing for a hug.

... sorry, she's not the type to start most conversations...]

[Oh no Utau is really cute. Tenten covers her mouth with her hand to try to stifle a giggle. Lowering it once the other notices, she just grins brightly and dips her head into a slight bow.]

It's nice to meet you! I'm Tenten, one of Ren's friends.

[Ren didn't mind this kind of attention at all. He'll gladly return the hug and plant a small kiss on her hair while at it. A small, because they're in company.

Though he won't say anything. Let the girls say hi to each other first. Yep.]

[Not that Utau would mind Tenten's giggle at all, it's a much better reaction than weird stares or something else. Ren gets a smile for that kiss, she'll restrain from wanting more right now.

That other girl is cute, she can admit that. But sometimes it takes a while from her to grin or smile at strangers, so Tenten's getting a neutral face right now.]

Hoshina Utau, Ren's fiancee. It's nice to meet you too.

I'm really glad we were finally able to meet. [The neutral face doesn't really bother her too much; she's in too good of a mood from the party itself to let something like that bring her down.

She just gestures back the way she and Ren had come with another bright smile.]

Do you guys want to stop by? It is my birthday, after all, so there's food and stuff. Or if you just want to soak in the hot springs, too.

[And then a flash of inspiration as she looks back to Utau.]

Oh! Can you sing, too?

Well, I would see no harm in participating. There's no danger right now, so it's fine to have some fun, right?

[He'll leave the singing question to Utau herself~]

Me too. [She still dislikes how reserved she can be around strangers, but that just means she needs to make more friends. But she really is really glad to meet her. Tenten seems nice.

And Utau looks interested in going to the party as soon as Tenten asks about it. It's the part of her eternal love, free food, that really gets some excitement to her face though.]

We'd be glad to stop by. Definitely no harm in having some fun.

[...she won't eat all the free food, promise. She'd probably have to go change some clothes for the hot spring, but that would only take a few minutes.]

Yeah, I'm a solo artist and I've been singing ever since I can remember.

[No kidding, even if it seems to be a very common answer.]

Yes, definitely!

[She claps both hands together in delight and spins on her heel, turning to head back toward the springs themselves, clearly expecting the others to follow.]

You guys should both do karaoke with us! I mean, I'm sure you're gonna put everyone else to shame, considering you guys are actual singers, but...

[Please please please sing for her birthday. But then, she is a host, so she pauses a moment and glances back.]

Umm... or I mean, if you guys just got here, you don't have to come immediately. I'm sure we'll all be here for a while.

Haha. As long as we don't scare them away.

[Oho. Confident now, is he?]

I had been planning on giving you a present in form a song, as I didn't have time to get anything else, so.

[So, Tenten has food and karaoke in her birthday party? She might as well consider herself as Utau's new best friend soon.]

We'll sing all night even if we put you in shame or scare everyone else away.

[Right, she should stop hugging Ren, so they could follow Tenten. First things first, she steals a kiss from boyfriend while the other girl is probably not watching. Okay, now she can stop hugging him. Utau takes her hands off him with a tiniest sigh.

Secondly, she's not dressed for hot springs.] ...I .. guess it wouldn't be a problem, if I didn't have to change my clothes a bit. That should only take a few minutes, if you want to wait too. [Ren will have to, so he can guide the girl to the party, but... anyway.]

I'll be looking forward to it! [She already knows Ren's songs are amazing, so both him and Utau is definitely going to be something to ~~see~~ listen to.

But what do you mean Utau doesn't have on a bathing suit under her clothes? Tenten pouts for a moment, then just shrugs and grins again.]

Well... you guys go ahead. You'll be able to find the party if you just follow the noise, so just turn up whenever!

[Kisses are always welcome here and they have time to hug all night if they want (and they probably do) once they leave the party.]

We won't take too long, so you go ahead and be with the other guests.
