Catch-all party post for Tenten! She's got so much money these days that she just rented the closest thing to an onsen-and-ryokan she could find. I'll be throwing up different areas and turning comments off, so feel free to thread amongst yourselves. It's a party post, you guys know how to do the thing. Also feel free to assume that Tenten would have made arrangements around March 3rd, and worked to try to get flyers to Fly people in if necessary.

ALSO IT'S GOING TO END UP THUNDERSTORMING (thanks, weather); everyone is invited to sleep over. There will be a thread for inside shenanigans, too.

Can't really complain. It's been a pretty good week overall.

That's just like them, isn't it? Only your friends can encourage you into embarrassing yourself in front of a bunch of other friends and strangers alike. [ Naruto's been trying. ]

Me--I'm fine. It's my friend's birthday party so how can I be anything other than okay today?

Tell me about it. You should've seen the stunts he pulled on my birthday...

[Glitter, buckets of water... Silly pranks that only two doofuses like them could work up.]

But I hear ya. And who can really complain with a setup like this? I'd take it over Goldenrod any day.

[ She's trying to picture it, but all that does is cause her to laugh a bit over it. Silly things--that's what friends do, isn't it? ]

Goldenrod is so overrated. Same with Violet. I'd be all too happy if I don't have to pass through either for a good year.

I swear, it's like people forget we have two whole regions to explore. Are they really that lazy?

I think sometimes it's just easier to stick to places that are packed with a lot of other people like us, you know? Not that the natives are bad, but sometimes it's easier to have a conversation with someone who says more than three things.

Can't blame them for that.

Me? I'd like to explore more of this place. Maybe I'll suggest that to my teammate...

Oh, c'mon. They aren't that robotic once you get used to them. They've just got this bad habit of repeating the same things.

[But that's coming from a guy who's spent years in the world-- that's plenty of time to see the locals' more... lively sides. But even if they aren't all that bad, there are still problems, like their pacifistic attitudes and their Pokémon fixations.]

Still, there's so much to explore that I'm surprised more people haven't taken the chance. They're really missing out.

[ For someone who enjoys listening to others a lot, it's a difficult chore for Sakura to deal with the natives and their limited speech. She doesn't argue him on that point, but instead hones in on the topic about exploration. ]

They really are.

That's why I refuse to let my teammate just settle down somewhere. There's a lot of this world to explore and he's going to come with me whether he likes it or not.

Have any place you'd recommend for a newcomer?

[Sakura should be grateful she hasn't been hassled by Joey. The last time he called Riku, they got into a heated argument over Rattatas. Sometimes the locals talk a little too much.

But he'll let the issue drop, focusing on the far more important subject of exploration.]

That all depends on your tastes and danger tolerance. I'm a big fan of Cinnabar's volcano, and the view from the top of Mt. Moon's great, but it takes about a million years to get there.

What's the trouble with getting there? Can't a Pokemon just fly you right up to the top?

[ Clearly a newcomer who hasn't done all of her research.

That or she's been spoiled by being flown to every location possible. There's a lot of that. ]
