kicking butt and taking selfies

Who: Tenten and ANYONE AND EVERYONE
Where: Blackthorn City hot springs
When: March 9th-10th
Summary: Tenten's birthday party!
Rating: G unless someone starts throwing punches and people start bleeding (likely).

Catch-all party post for Tenten! She's got so much money these days that she just rented the closest thing to an onsen-and-ryokan she could find. I'll be throwing up different areas and turning comments off, so feel free to thread amongst yourselves. It's a party post, you guys know how to do the thing. Also feel free to assume that Tenten would have made arrangements around March 3rd, and worked to try to get flyers to Fly people in if necessary.

ALSO IT'S GOING TO END UP THUNDERSTORMING (thanks, weather); everyone is invited to sleep over. There will be a thread for inside shenanigans, too.

[ Don't remind her of the friendship that is John and Naruto. ]

I've never seen an egg of this size before so maybe this is about normal for them. Breaking them though... wouldn't that kill them? I don't think I've seen many if any at all dead Pokemon here.

[Oh boy.]

Well, yes. That's why I don't think anyone would consider breaking them. Because it would kill the Pokemon inside! [She would hate to think of someone wanting to kill Pokemon while they're still in eggs.]

That's true. Do they die of old age? Because Pokemon only seem to faint otherwise.

I'm, I'm not sure?

[ A question she can't answer. IT SUCKS. ] I know what my next side project is going to be. Finding proof that Pokemon have died.

There are fossils of Pokemon, aren't there? I recall tournament prizes that had them at one point.

There are fossils! I imagine that wild Pokemon die of all sorts of things because of survival of the fittest, but I've never heard of a domesticated Pokemon dying from anyone.

[She guesses the Pokecenters do a very good job of taking care of their Pokemon.] Maybe there are Pokemon that can live forever. Or much longer than an average human lifespan.

That's kind of sad to think about in a way.

Pokemon outlasting their trainers all the time... maybe their children inherit them? I've never heard of that happening before either with the natives, but maybe it's so ingrained in their society that they don't have to talk about it. It's just assumed everyone abides by it already?

Pokemon and humans seemed to have coexisted for awhile. There's probably a lot of things that we don't understand that's probably normal for them. We could ask some natives. I don't think they would mind us asking. Maybe we can find it in books too if we don't want to bother people.

Reading it in a book would be preferred, but where can someone find a bunch of books? I haven't seen a library myself.

Not that I have really been looking...

Hmm, I don't know. I'm sure you can purchase books, but that's a lot of books and not very good when traveling.

I miss my modus. It would make traveling so much easier with it and I could carry aaaaaalll the books I wanted. But I'll definitely lookout for libraries now! There has to be a library? How else would people have access to books?
