KEY:

• BLUE areas are where the bulk of the party's events will be located! As you can see, the festivities will be taking place largely outdoors, and the grounds will reflect that; there'll be the usual decorations of pretty floral arrangements, little lights, things like that. Think upscale garden party! There'll also be a ballroom indoors for more traditionally fancy red-carpet goings-on, but most of the action (and volume of guests) will be found mingling out back.
• GREEN areas are where guests will be staying overnight! Unfortunately, you'll be sleeping-bagging it up, since there's a limited amount of bedrooms in this house and they're all being occupied by Clair, Lance, the Elite Four, and guests who are regrettably way more important than you. However, this is where you'll be given space to leave your possessions, claim some sleeping room, and generally crash for the night once the festivities do you in. (Note: you're welcome to try to sleep elsewhere, but Clair might catch you and disapprove. You don't want that, do you?)
• RED areas are unfortunately off-limits to guests! If asked about them, anyone will tell you that those are the rooms and areas that the Elite Four (and their special guests) have claimed for themselves, and they're sealed off tight. Please don't try to break into them anyway; you'll only be caught and punished.

• AREA A is the designated Indoor Ballroom area, for the people who prefer the classy elegance of a formal red-carpet gala over the more whimsy outdoor garden party atmosphere in the back. There's a big skylight, hardwood floors, tasteful artwork, and classy music — a little more upscale than the shenanigans going on outside, for the people who'd rather that kind of thing.

• AREA B will be the area of interest for anyone hoping to sneak a little Pokemon research on the side: this is the Library/Gallery area of the house. While most of it is your standard "tall shelves of ancient identical books" fare, there are a few points of interest — we've detailed them further right here. Guests are welcome to look around a little, but burying themselves in research the whole time will be highly frowned upon, and you'll be politely encouraged to leave the library alone and go rejoin the festivities if you hole up in there for too long.

• AREA C is...well, the Parking Lot. More importantly, it's where you take your Pokemon battles if you simply gotta get your battle on; keep it out and away from the house, please, and try not to make too much of a mess. Skirmishes, sorties, and sparring will be tolerated here and here alone. Do it anywhere else and you'll be facing some very displeased hosts.

• AREA D is the Elite Four's Trophy Room. Please be quiet and respectful if you come up here to have a look around; it's a solemn kind of place. Here you'll find various collections of badges, ribbons, awards, and trophies put on display, with one wall devoted to each member of the Elite Four. There are also pictures of the Elite Four members themselves, though it seems there's been a changeover since the last prom; the candids and Official Portraits™ depict different people entirely now (with the exception of Bruno) and there are a few photos of some sort of ceremony among the others. These photos include Lance being declared Champion of both regions by Professor Oak, while the rest of the Elite Four look on; Lorelai hugging Will and Karen immediately after their promotion to Elite Four; Agatha and Koga having an exhibition battle between her Gengar and his Crobat; all six of them piling into the frame for what amounts to a massive group selfie, etc.

[Even if Ace is looking extraordinarily pleased. Look it found a baby. He surrenders the baby Eevee easy enough when Joker reaches over, however.]

[The baby wiggles a little when Joker takes her away from Ace, but she will gladly curl up in Joker's....well, arm, if he'll allow her to. She seems to be keeping her eyes on Angel, though, trying to reach one of her paws out towards her.]

Eheh....It's ok. I'm sorry you got woken up.

[The Mime Jr. is more than happy to reach out, cuddling up against the baby Eevee. She is more than used to baby Pokemon, after all.]

Ah, ain't a thing ta worry about. One a this lot woulda woke me up sooner or later! Worse ways ta go about it, wouldn't ya say?

[The little Eevee lets out a few chirps of approval at the cuddling, snuggling up close to Angel. Can she just stay here forever, Chihiro? Because this is nice, yes.]

Yes, I suppose you're right...

[It's then that Chihiro looks back over to the Pokemon pile and notices Invidia there, before looking back over to Joker.]

O-oh....you....you must be Joker-kun, right? Invidia's Papa?

Hmm?

[Joker-kun? Wait... Wait... He knows this... He can connect the dots, just- give him a second-]

Ah! You must be the one Invidia was chattin' ta about computers and all that!

[Said Zoroark is still snoozing, as a matter of fact. In the meantime, however, Joker pauses a second to tilt his head at Chihiro like he's trying to figure something out.]

Mhm, that's me. It's nice to meet you in person.

Yeah, the pleasure's all mine! Yer really doin' us a favor. He's been interested for a while now but I didn't know what ta do about it.

[A chuckle, and he tries to rub the baby Eevee's cheek with one finger.]

[The little Eevee moves to nuzzle her face against Joker's finger when he does that. She seems to be an awfully affectionate little thing.]

Mm-mm. She just hatched in the middle of the night, so I haven't had a chance to name her yet...

An' then Ace here stole her away from ya.

[The older Eevee seems to show no shame in this and just tries to join the growing cuddle pile in Joker's arm.]

[Goodness Joker, now your arm is overflowing with tiny Pokemon. The baby seems pretty pleased with that, trying her best to snuggle up close to Ace and Angel at the same time.]

Mhm, that's true....I'm not sure what I should call her, though..

Changelin', maybe? But that's just the first thing comin' ta my mind.

Well, Eevee's can change inta all sortsa things, can't they?

...And nearly seemed ta get kidnapped. That too.

You're right...but if this Eevee evolves, one day...would a name like that no longer have the same meaning?

Who knows! Sometimes folks change more than just physical, don't they?

[Chihiro tilts his head and looks back down at the Eevee in Joker's arm, who is starting to doze off again. Such a busy night for such a small baby.]

...I could call her "Henko", maybe... it means change, in Japanese.

Heh, 'fraid I don't know much when it comes ta other languages. Most is some Indian names I picked up from a couple of 'em that wandered through the circus from time ta time.

[The newly named Henko would be pleased to hear her new name, if she were awake anyway. ...She'll just be filled in later.]

Oh, I see.... I know a little from some other languages from all of my time on the computer doing research for things, but it's not really a whole lot..

Heh, looks like we're all in the same boat, then. I've been learnin' a bit a Japanese just by bein' around some a the folks here, but it's just the 'chan' and 'kun' and all that.

Mhm. The additional pronouns from the Japanese my classmates and I usually speak are.. the only difference I've noticed between languages here so far, actually.

[The pronouns are one thing that seem to have stuck, so far. He can't help but wonder if anyone else particularly minds his usage of them...since Maka told him to just call her "Maka", instead of "Maka-san".]

Well, I think they're pretty interestin'. Just have the 'Miss', 'Missus', that sorta thing... An' the titles, I suppose, if yer interested in that sorta thing.
