thankfully they don't have to search for some lost teeth.
Who: The Dangans in Cianwood (Naegi, Fujisaki, Nanami, Hinata and Tsumiki)
Where: The Safari Zone
When: Backdated to April 12th
Summary: The Dangans decide to go to the Safari Zone. Shenanigans may ensue.
Rating: G to PG at the most.
Log:
The Johto Safari Zone is home to many wild Pokémon and is a must for any Trainer or Breeder visiting the island. The twelve zones are all different, ranging from rugged mountains to vast expanses of savannah, beautiful meadows to the lush green forests with dense canopies and trees stretching up high. If you're looking for someplace with abundant wildlife and flora or just want to enjoy the scenery, this is the place to go.
Just pay the admission fee, receive a ton of balls, bait and a really huge amount of rocks and you're ready to enter.
They haven't made any concrete plans as far as this outing is concerned -- the group doesn't have to stick together for the entire day and people are free to wander off and explore on their own, though bringing along at least one person is advisable because who doesn't want company?

Chihiro had been curious about the Safari Zone and was eager to get a chance to explore it...permanently with a buddy, of course.]
A) [Whoever he is with he will follow close by, wandering around all of the twelve zones, not really having a certain preference as to which one they should be going to.]
B) [Eventually, while in the Field Zone, the pair might come across some bushes that seem to be trembling every now and then...and before Chihiro can stop her, Henko curiously bounds through the grass over to the shaking bush, no doubt startling the Pokémon hiding there out into the open.]
C) [And then they're back on the move again after that impromptu encounter has been dealt with. From that point on, a small Abra can be seen quietly following Chihiro with a piece of food held in her hands, nibbling on it as she hurries to keep up with the programmer. Oddly enough, he didn't seem to actually catch it...]
[Otherwise he'll be just about anywhere you are because nope nope we're using the buddy system here.]

a) forest zone
[ By pure chance, he ended up catching a Venipede that simply didn't want to leave him alone. He's pretty content just following one of the many winding trails through the forest. The Exeggcute found here seem to perplex him, and he decides that it's a good topic as any. ]
Um, some of the eggs in an Exeggcute cluster are cracked... Doesn't that mean the brain is exposed?
[ Naegi. ]
b) meadow zone
[ That flock of Cottonee floating in the wind over there is really interesting and all, but the noises from his stomach is demanding his attention right now. ]
I think we should stop here for a bit and eat something... I brought sandwiches, if you're hungry too.
B
I think that's a good idea... We've been walking around for a while too, anyway.
[All Naegi needed to do was utter the word "sandwiches" to spontaneously summon Chihiro's Zigzagoon to his side, who is now sitting by his feet and looking up at him expectantly.]
no subject
Seems like Isamu thinks it's a good idea, too.
[ Conveniently, there are some rocks large enough to sit on nearby so Naegi walks over to them before shrugging off his backback and drops it onto the soft grass. ]
no subject
Henko doesn't seem as eager to beg for scraps, but she wouldn't be opposed to a little snack or two either.]
no subject
He can't resist Isamu's begging looks for too long, and as soon as the foil comes off his own sandwich Naegi breaks off a piece of the bread and "accidentally" lets it fall to the ground. ]
no subject
Once Henko has settled down next to Isamu, Chihiro takes a bite of the sandwich Naegi handed him, glancing back over at the Cottonee gently floating past on the breeze.]
This place is really nice. All of the Pokémon seem so happy here..
no subject
Yeah. I don't get why visitors receive a bunch of rocks, though. I don't want to throw those at Pokémon.
[ Which is why Naegi dumped them in a pile on the ground as soon as they entered the zone. ]
no subject
Neither do I. It seems like a very cruel thing to be expected to do....
[Then again, battling isn't that far off from rock throwing, but at least it's a bit more of a fair fight between two creatures. Otherwise it's just a trainer hurling stones at a Pokemon minding it's own business. Who wants to do that?]
Giving them food is good enough to get most of them to come out into the open, if you really want them to.
no subject
[ After all, the animals here tend to have superpowers. Let's not piss them off. ]
Besides, it's much nicer to give them food. They seem so happy when they gobble up the bait you toss at them.
no subject
Then he offers a third piece to the little Abra living in the Safari Zone who has been quietly following him for a while now. At first she hesitates, a bit surprised Chihiro is offering her more food, before slowly reaching out to take the bread in her claws, nibbling on it.]
Mhm. That's all it takes, really..
[If the Abra is any testament to that.]
Speaking of food...thank you for the sandwich.
no subject
[ He pauses, looking over at the Abra and watches it nibble on the piece of bread. ]
Looks like you've made a new friend.
no subject
Chihiro nods with a little laugh.]
I ran into her in the taller grass earlier and I figured she would just teleport away, frightened...but she's been following me.

[He glances over at the Abra again, who has finished the bread and is now just floating there calmly. It's a bit hard to tell if she's watching Chihiro or Naegi, since it looks like her eyes are closed. She seems content to be in their company, though.]
....Is he right? Do you want to come with me?
[The Abra lifts her head slowly, as if Chihiro just stirred her from a dozing slumber. Then she nods her head a bit to answer.]
no subject
[ Naegi says, as he finishes the sandwich and begins to roll the foil into a tight ball which he shoves into a plastic bag; littering is forbidden so he's going to take the trash back with him when he leaves. ]
What are you going to name her?
no subject
Hmm....I'm not sure yet. I'll have to think about it.
[Or ask for advice, since that's what he had to do for both Zip and Henko. In the pause that follows Chihiro finishes his own sandwich, though all the while he watches Naegi quietly. Almost as if he wants to ask him something, but hasn't yet brought himself to do it.]
...Mm...Naegi-kun?
[He hesitates briefly, but continues with his voice lowered slightly. Nobody seems to be around to overhear them at least, so they can talk privately.]
I've been meaning to ask you, um... Ishimaru-kun told me that....we used to know each other, before everything happened at Hope's Peak...and all. But somehow our memories of that time were lost. I don't exactly understand completely, but...
He...he told me you have pictures from then, though. Pictures of us.
no subject
I do... It's just one, though. I found two other pictures back at the school, but I don't have those. Wait a sec--
[ Naegi reaches into his packpack to retrieve his PokéGear. After some clicking to locate the specific file, this picture appears on the screen and he holds out the device so Chihiro can get a closer look. ]
no subject
He stays quiet for a little while as he looks the picture over.]
...We... all look so happy together. ...Like we were very good friends.
[...Except...
Chihiro blinks and tilts his head a bit before pointing at the girl standing next to who he recognizes as Junko Enoshima.]
Who is this?
no subject
[ And then everything went to hell when the world got consumed by despair courtesy of Enoshima. ]
Ah, uh... [ How to word this... ] She's Mukuro Ikusaba, the sixteenth student.
no subject
He gives Naegi a side glance as he leans back to sit up straighter on the rock.]
Mm...I guess there's....a lot that you know that I don't.
[He sounds careful as he says that, and a bit unsure. He's still not sure how much he needs to know, just yet.]
no subject
[ He sets the PokéGear down for the time being; if Chihiro wants to take another look at the picture, all he has to do is ask. ]
Is there anything you want to know about Ikusaba-san?
no subject
Well...what was her title?
[That's a simple enough question to start, and he is legitimately curious. It's impossible to tell what it could have been just at a glance.]
no subject
no subject
I see...
...What....what happened to her?
no subject
Before I answer that... Do you know about the mastermind's identity?
no subject
no subject
The person running the killing game was Junko Enoshima -- but not the Enoshima we knew. Her twin sister, Ikusaba, took her place and pretended to be her.
no subject
Her.....twin sister?
...So then...
[He lets that hang for a moment, grimacing. Having to see "Junko" speared to death was bad enough.]
I don't understand. ...Was Ikusaba-san...working with Junko-san?
no subject
She was. I don't know why she did it, but... she got betrayed by her own sister, in the end.
no subject
[What an awful thing, to be betrayed by your own sister...even if you were in on it to start with.]
Did you find out...their reasoning behind organizing the game in the first place?
no subject
We're symbols of hope, and she wanted to show the world how we kill each other. She wanted to spread despair.
no subject
Symbols of hope....]
But she failed. ...You survived.
no subject
[ A pause, for added effect. ]
I survived thanks to you, Fujisaki-kun.
no subject
..Tell me what happened, Naegi-kun. ...what happened....after. ..Please.
[The look on his face is a mixture of curiosity and muted sadness. It's clear that he never survived the ordeal at Hope's Peak, but if something he had done saved them....well, he can only guess as to what that was.]
no subject
We found the laptop in the public bath. Alter Ego was a real help to us, Fujisaki-kun. He decrypted those files on the hard drive, and later he asked me to connect him to the school's network... I was able to do that in a hidden room on the second floor.
no subject
Before...I ended up here, I was trying to put the finishing touches on Alter Ego's programming. ..I'm glad to hear I was able to finish him, and that he was such a help to you.
no subject
[ Maybe it sounds like he's exaggerating, but really, that's how he feels. ]
The fifth trial was a sham. Enoshima left Ikusaba-san's body in the garden on the fifth floor and tried to pin the murder on one of us. Kirigiri-san was a threat so she wanted her dead... But her plan failed because I kept quiet about the evidence that would have broken Kirigiri-san's alibi. I trusted her and I had a feeling something was wrong.
I was the only person left without an alibi so I was voted as the culprit for a murder I didn't commit, and I was going to be executed for it.
[ ... ]
...I would have been killed if Alter Ego hadn't hijacked the machine.
no subject
Hearing that Alter Ego stopped the execution altogether is enough to bring tears to his eyes.]
...I....I'm....
...I'm glad he was able to protect you. ...A-all I wanted was for his artificial intelligence to be able help you all, just...just in case... something happened...
[He trails off after that, at a bit of a loss for words. Where he comes from, AE was still unfinished. If he finds himself being taken back, he hopes the first thing he does is finishes the program, for their sake.]
no subject
...Chihiro's going to be blinded by flashes by the end of the day, isn't he.
Anyway, she's trailed by the floating trio of Musharna, Porygon-Z, and Rotom, and can be found specifically: ]
a) the rocky beach;
[ Just...standing there looking at the beach. She seems to be waiting for something...with her camera at the ready, although this time, she's actually trying to catch something... ]
I haven't seen it yet...maybe they were wrong...or I should move to trigger the spawn rate...
[ okay then ]
b) the marshland
[ ...With her foot rather stuck in a muddy watery puddle, THIS IS NOT WHAT SHE SIGNED UP FOR HOW DOES SHE ESCAPE... ]
