I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
Who: Everybody on the Magnet Train + Anyone who wants to help evacuate said train!
Where: The Magnet Train!
When: April 26th!
Summary: Train robberies, Pokemon battles, and electrical fires!
Rating: If it goes higher than PG, I'll edit!
Log:
If it weren't for the heightened security while boarding, the passengers today might not have noticed any real difference between today's trip and any other trip taken by the Magnet Train. Sure the staff seem to be a little on edge, but there's about the same number of passengers as always, and they don't really seem all that concerned with the broadcasted threat. And about five, five and a half hours into the train ride, nothing really seems to have happened. Maybe the thieves were just full of hot air?
Or not since around this time the train starts slowing down before reaching a complete stop. If anybody takes a quick look outside, it'll show that the train's definitely not in Goldenrod yet. If it wasn't clear that something's wrong, a few moments after the train stops, there's a voice over the PA system that's definitely not the conductor's.
“Attention, passengers, this train is under our control now and if you don't want there to be any...accidents, you'll do as we say. In other words, stay seated if you know what's good for you.”
By now some of the NPC passengers are starting to look worried. Not all of them though. Maybe they know something the others don't?
“Now then. In a few minutes, some friends of ours are going to make their way through the cars. They'll be asking for a few things, and it's in your best interests to hand them over.”
With that, the train's speaker system clicks off.
{OOC: While the subthreads for the battles and fire are intended for the people already on the train, the subthread for evacuating the train can be tagged by anyone that would've flown out to help with the stranded train!}

[Because that's definitely what Kirikou is doing, the tiny Houndour puppy on the seat besides him yapping up a fuss.]]
Are you kidding me?! No way am I giving in to losers like you! This is my team and you aren't laying your hands on any of them!
no subject
Kirikou, they've got Pokemon with them, if they're going to try and rob us we'll just knock them and their team out.
[Though if they try to physically grab anything from her, she's going to punch and Kali's going to bite.]

-Taking over the train
-Taking everyone's stuff
-Leaving
At no point is get kicked in the face on the list, so that grunt's getting kicked right in the face and falling back into one of the chairs.]
Argh, that hurt, you brat!
[He's about to retaliate, but he notices Maka. And getting into a 2 on 1 fight's not really something he wants to do. Unless it was two Rockets against one punk kid.]
Hey, help me out with this one!
[And there's another Grunt behind them now. Two on two's much better odds.]
no subject
[Enjoy that accusatory finger point, miscellaneous Rocket Grunt, you probably get a lot of them. Maka's words just make Kirikou huff angrily.]
They're robbing the train and I'm supposed to play fair!?
[But fine. The only Pokemon of his with any notable level is his Doduo, so Hiphop comes out in a blaze of light. Bit of a tight squeeze in here... 'Scuse them, folks, just gonna perch on the chairs and squawk threateningly.]
Bring it on!

Just think of it like Lord Death's blacklist, okay? Battle those who are, punch those who aren't.
[Never mind Lord Death's blacklist is "kill or no." Kali stays in a defensive posture and Maka sidles out so she's not directly in the way of Kirikou and the grunt he's battling.]
If you're ready, we can start now.

[Still holding his face from the kick, Kirikou's Grunt, selects a Pokeball and brings out...a level 13 Drowzee! Not the most intimidating thing in the world, but then again he wasn't expecting much of a fight. Or a kick to the face for that matter.]
Drowzee! Disable!
[On the other side of things, Maka's Grunt is going to start off with... a level 71 Raticate!]
Fine by me! Raticate! Quick Attack!
[Not the strongest attack, but hey, there's still a giant rat running through the aisle at Maka's Houndoom.]

Fury Attack!
[He'd be lying if he said his shoulders didn't ease up when Hiphop lunges forward, dual beaks ferociously attacking. Okay, he was good for now. Hopefully they could take out this pain in the ass before he disabled something ELSE.]
no subject
[Kali shoots out a funnel of flame to the charging Raticate, narrow enough to not graze the seats or hurt passengers but wide enough to directly go into the Raticate's path.
As it goes, she's calculating in her head what to do next. Kali has no type advantage to a Raticate so there's no chance of taking it out quickly, although she's very strong so hopefully no surprises will be pulled out.]

Drowzee! Hit that thing back! Headbutt! Bash that bird!
[Drowzee's just going to lower its head and run head first at Doduo. Is it the brightest strategy? Probably not.]
[On the other side of things, Flamethrower does a decent amount of damage to the Raticate, but it's definitely still got some fight left in it. Also the train owners will probably appreciate Maka's efforts to not torch the seats!]
I'm afraid you're going to have to do better than that! Hyper Fang!
[Raticate should hopefully be close enough now to try and chomp down on that Houndoom.]
