It's that time everyone's been waiting for! Time to put that nasty train robbery behind everyone. After all, haven't you heard?




Throughout the streets of Goldenrod, folks will find all sorts of colorful characters and Pokemon about. Fliers and the like have been regular this last month or so, but the advertising is in full force today just to make it EXTRA apparent that today is the day. Another hint is all the air traffic in the skies- various Flying-type Pokemon that make up the Circus' transportation service. Who knows? Maybe you're one of those using it today!

And of course, who can miss the colorful spectacle that is the circus itself? Past the entrance gate (which will let you onto the circus grounds for a miniscule fee) are dozens and dozens of stalls and little tents. Looming over them is the main tent itself, a monstrosity of bright welcoming colors. There are all sorts of things amongst their ranks, but it's generally fairly easy to find what you're looking for as Pidgey of a feather flock together and all that... From games of all sorts like the usual carnival games to more of a retro arcade, to a set of shops with local crafts and maybe something from the foreign trainers.... Of course, there's also all sorts of food stalls and even shacks for more filling stuff.

With all that alone, you could probably keep busy for most of the day! But surely you aren't forgetting the Big Act?

Yep, the big acts in the Big Top. Times are posted both at the front gate, on fliers you can pick up here and there, and by the entrance to the large tent. For each day, there will be three shows! Better hope you can snag a ticket before they get sold out... Although maybe you'll get lucky for the next show. Or the next day....

Either way, it promises to be a fun few days!

[Perking up immediately as she hears Kairi's voice, Ilya turns her eyes to her friend and smiles warmly.]

Kairi! I'm so glad to see- Oh my, those are lovely.

[Extending a hand, she picks them up and takes a sniff.] Oh and they smell terrific. Thank you so much! Did you enjoy the show?

[She knows the answer to that question but she has to ask anyway.]

[She grins happily.]

And I'm glad you like them. There's so many pretty flowers in Celadon, I just had to share some with you.

I'm going to enjoy reaching Celadon, I think.

Come, sit down! Have a drink with me. Don't worry about the staff only sign, as long as you're with me it's okay.

[Like she's going to let a sign get in her way.]

[And sit she does.]

How have you been? I feel like it's been forever since I saw you.

The last time we saw each other was at the party, wasn't it? So it's been about a month. I've been spending most of my time preparing for today, actually. There's a lot of time and effort that goes into this sort of thing, plus I've wanted to see the others' acts. It's made the month fly past, I can definitely say that! But at this point I'm about ready to start traveling again.

Traveling sounds really cool. I've mostly been cooped up in that musty training center.

[dressofheaven]

Why don't you come along with me? Or would Riku and Sora not allow that?

[There's almost a note of challenge in that last sentence, as if she's asking if Kairi's going to let them make the decision for her.]

Actually, they'd probably encourage it.

[Since there's no Heartless to nab her, she can pretty much go where she wants without fear.]

You'd really want me to come along?

Oh, they would? Hmmm, maybe I misjudged them...

[And here she thought Riku, at least, would be the protective type.]

Of course I would! Traveling's much better with a friend. Maybe we can get Cynthia to come along as well.

That sounds like a lot of fun.

[But... can she trust Riku and Sora to be left alone to their own devices?]

I'll... just have to talk to them about it first. Maybe you can come visit us in Celadon first?

Hmmm... the Magnet Train is right here. It wouldn't be too long of a trip to go to Saffron and then to Celadon. I suppose I could do that.

That'd be great! You can see where I live, and we can hang out in Celadon! It's a lot like Goldenrod, but there's flowers and stuff everywhere.

I'm sure it will be fascinating. I'll look forward to the trip.

[Though, really, she looks forward to going anywhere she hasn't been before.]

I'll make sure there's a room ready for you. This is gonna be so much fun!

Good idea. We wouldn't want my arrival to be too much of a surprise.
