Summary: The Eve's Garden Circus is officially open for business! When it comes to a circus, what better group to put the 'grand' in 'Grand Opening'?

It's that time everyone's been waiting for! Time to put that nasty train robbery behind everyone. After all, haven't you heard?




Throughout the streets of Goldenrod, folks will find all sorts of colorful characters and Pokemon about. Fliers and the like have been regular this last month or so, but the advertising is in full force today just to make it EXTRA apparent that today is the day. Another hint is all the air traffic in the skies- various Flying-type Pokemon that make up the Circus' transportation service. Who knows? Maybe you're one of those using it today!

And of course, who can miss the colorful spectacle that is the circus itself? Past the entrance gate (which will let you onto the circus grounds for a miniscule fee) are dozens and dozens of stalls and little tents. Looming over them is the main tent itself, a monstrosity of bright welcoming colors. There are all sorts of things amongst their ranks, but it's generally fairly easy to find what you're looking for as Pidgey of a feather flock together and all that... From games of all sorts like the usual carnival games to more of a retro arcade, to a set of shops with local crafts and maybe something from the foreign trainers.... Of course, there's also all sorts of food stalls and even shacks for more filling stuff.

With all that alone, you could probably keep busy for most of the day! But surely you aren't forgetting the Big Act?

Yep, the big acts in the Big Top. Times are posted both at the front gate, on fliers you can pick up here and there, and by the entrance to the large tent. For each day, there will be three shows! Better hope you can snag a ticket before they get sold out... Although maybe you'll get lucky for the next show. Or the next day....

Either way, it promises to be a fun few days!

[Since those two are busy assholes at each other, it's Invidia who quietly speaks up.]

Zoro... [She should be finishing up her act right now... Do you want me to find her?]

You should be grateful I have such kind patience for you, Mr. Stooge! If your circus wasn't actually half-decent, I'd have no reluctance towards getting payback!

[A+ trainers, both of them.] Vaporeon! [That would be good!]

Aaaaah, so it was half-decent then? Comin' from Hiyo-chan, that's some high praise!

[jfc you two. Invidia just taps Joker on the shoulder to let him know he's running off somewhere before he disappears back into the big tent. Nako, look out, a Zoroark is looking for you.]

Don't get cocky, it was only enough to entertain me for a while!

[Apart from the snarky retorts back and forth towards each other, Nako is indeed free as of now. Yes, Invidia, what is it?

Naoryuu tries to follow Invidia too, and all of Saionji's other Pokémon kind of... follow... without her noticing...]

[Good thing Joker is such a great distraction, right]

[Invidia opens his mouth to explain when he realizes he's been followed. There's an awkward pause as he looks back at the small group he's accidentally brought back, then back to Nako, then just... a point. You have guests, Nako.]

I'm on grounds to ask for it and more with the damage I've received, if you haven't noticed!

[Thanks, Joker. Nako... whoa, okay, what. She kinda stares up and down, until Saionji's Froslass, Yuki, takes the first move.

And by first move she means HUG THE FUCK OUT OF HER THEY THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD...

...In fact, the only one not reacting like they've seen someone they thought they never would again and reenacting all those #tearfulreunion tropes from the Pokémon anime is Naoryuu. Who's just sitting happily, wagging his finned tail. Sorry Invidia, you're the eighth wheel now.]

Ya can't hold the circus responsible for that. It wasn't one a our performers or one a our Pokemon~. Yer outta luck there!

[And no it's cool. Invidia is used to being on the sidelines. He'll just be over here, playing bodyguard again to make sure nothing gets out of hand. Although considering how happy everyone is, he doesn't think he'll have to get involved.]

[Technically, the Skitty never met Nako but HEY EVERYONE'S HUGGING SO LET'S HUG!!!!]

Nako seems pretty happy too, but after a moment, rather perplexed.] Lilligant! [Wait- if you all are here, does that mean...?

YEP. Saionji Hiyoko is in the circus. Will she take me away?!]

A lotta things happen in my circus, Hiyo-chan, but I ain't responsible for every single one a them.

[Okay, this seems like a good time for Invidia to come over and gently pat one of Nako's leaves.]

Ark Zoroark. [No. Joker told her you ran away, and I think that changed her mind. You can still stay with us, if you want. We like having you here.]

It's still your circus, and everything is technically held accountable to you! That's the risk you signed yourself up for!

Lilligant. [Are you sure Saionji-hime would agree so easily? She eyes her former teammates cautiously... YOU KNOW, WITH SOMEONE LIKE HER, YOU CAN'T QUITE TRUST SHE WON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THEM...] Gant! Lilli. [Alright, then. Of course I'll stay in the circus... but perhaps I should talk to her too.

...Eventually... she might be eying the tent exit a bit apprehensively. DO/DO NOT PASS GO? WILL SHE COLLECT $200???? MYSTERIES]

You can't blame me for that! I was left in the dark about Nako's whereabouts for a whole month, my reaction was completely justified!

[ALRIGHT! The Lilligant claps her hands pretty happily- and Naoryuu begins to count the money.] Vapor! [This is all her savings from after she had to pay, so it'll definitely be enough!

Ya coulda kept yer calm and waited until after the show, confronted me that way.

[HE AIN'T BUDGIN' ON THIS ONE.]

[Meanwhile, Joker's Zoroark is handling things a lot less gracefully. In fact, he's starting to get the kind of expression one gets when they're in over their head.]

Z... Zoro... [What did she have to pay...?]

What, and just let the whole fiasco go for even longer? Since you didn't tell me, you're certainly entitled to have whatever you've planned ruined!

[Nevermind that this argument started on her acting out causing Bert's Arcanine to burn her hair, not that Joker doesn't deserve it! Is this red herring or Strawman's fallacy? No one knows.

But yes, the Ampharos speaks up this time.] Ampharos, ros ros. [During Prom, when everyone was gathering, I resorted to breaking a chandelier in order to help a Spoink horde.

Ya ain't exactly gonna earn my sympathy if ya couldn't wait an hour or so longer, Hiyo-chan. Besides, didn't ya hear me? Nako didn't want ya ta know and I'm more invested in my performers than anythin'.

[Also.... Wow, Invidia does not know what to say to this. He's just going to stare before doing an awkward shuffle.]

How is putting them up for display without wondering what others might react to their presence 'invested' in them?

[Did she just... admit that she flipped out pretty badly, perhaps even enough to put them in danger...

The other Pokémon horde seems a lot happier, though, and begins to casually leave the tent slowly without even realizing they should wait for Angel. CIRCUUUUS]

She wanted ta dance and performer, so I helped her out. We didn't know if ya would be in the crowd or not, after all!

[No, it's fine, Invidia is pretty quick. It's amazing how sneaky Zoroarks can be... Joker notices the sudden ~mysterious~ absence of Angel, but doesn't comment on it.]

Of course you would know, I said I was coming! [JEEZ, JOKER, SHE OBVIOUSLY NEVER BACKS OUT OF A CLAIM!!!! HAHAHAH.]

And, once again, of course! Of course, of course, of course! She's my Pokémon and has been missing for a good month!

[She might be losing whatever inhibitions she had holding her back from hollering. Saionji waves her hand-] Let's go! I've got no time to deal with you now, Mr. Stooge.

[-without realizing her Pokémon are all missing. Whoops.]
