If there was one reason to go to Cianwood in the first place, other than the badge (which was Ilya's reason) it was to go to the Safari Zone. She wasn't entirely certain there were Pokemon in there that she wanted to catch, but it was always worth a look, it wasn't all that expensive, and it was a new way of doing this. Really, she had every reason to try it out and no reason not to.

And so she stepped into the zone with a bag full of Safari Balls, some bait and some rocks, and grinned over her shoulder at her companions, particularly the eager face right behind her.

"So, where do you want to go first?" She asked Kairi.

[Kairi walks behind Ilya, studying a map of the park with enthusiasm.]

I've been cooped up in big cities for so long, it would be awesome to take a walk in the forest.

[Unlike Kairi and Illya, Riku's been to the Safari Zone a couple of times. It's where he caught Dart, after all.

Speaking of which, his Toxicroak's slinking close behind him. She stays silent, and she never once blinks. Really, it's kinda eerie, but Riku figured a Safari 'mon would be able to serve as a guide... possibly.

At any rate, he'll let Dart do her... thing while he focuses on the girls.]

Forest, huh? Well, I don't see the harm in it. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure you can spot some cool Pokémon out there.

Well that's what we're here for, after all. Sounds like a good idea to me. The forest it is.

[So off they head in that direction, Ilya leading the way... and consulting her map while they go. She should probably be letting Riku lead, but hey, she's excited.]

Where did you find that one, by the way? [She nods at Dart.]

I keep forgetting you had to go and catch all these guys, Riku.

[Not everyone is lucky enough to just wake up and be taken to a big house full of strong pokemon.]

If I didn't catch them, I bought them. Either way, it's not like they fell into my lap.

[Now then, since Illya asked...]

If you're looking for a Croagunk, then we're gonna want to swing by the marshland. Just remember that we've only got access to six zones a day, so you're gonna want to choose carefully.

[The good news is, they've got cable cars to transport them about. That oughta cut down some of the travel time.]

[She tries to sound offended on Kairi's behalf but just ends up coming across as amused.]

Right, just six zones. Well, the forest is still our first destination. Shouldn't be too much longer...
