[So, there's this Clefairy running down the route because in all the confusion she lost sight of her dear partner and even though she knows that Glen is probably with him and so he's not by himself or anything which would be bad she doesn't want him out of her sight for too long anyway

because even though he's promised that that won't happen again she isn't so sure he can keep that promise, especially with everything going on

but she sees this boy! And he looks upset! And upset is bad.

So she'll take a detour in her quest and instead run up to the boy and see if she can't figure out what's wrong.]

[One moment he had been on the battlefield next to his fellow (former) Team 7 members, the next he found himself in some strange world and a strange little Lion cub following him.

There seems to be some sort of time-space jutsu active too, as he seems to randomly teleport from one place to another, but always with the creature following right behind him.

Maybe you run into him on a route, trying to make sense of the map in his hands, or watching his Litleo battle a wild pokemon, or perhaps he is in one of the towns arguing with a shopkeeper who will not take his "fake" currency, whatever floats your boat.]

[Starly notices the Clefairy before Tobias does, peeping softly as she looks down at her. She looks from her to Tobias and back, trying her best to convey that something is indeed wrong with her trainer but she really isn't sure what.

After a bit though Tobias does look over, pulling back slightly to avoid nearly accidentally stepping on the Clefairy.]

Yeah, that's right. ...You see, I....these powers.....they come with a price. Whatever I change into I can....only stay as for two hours.
